    I love your truck! I have a 2015 RAM 2500 Laramie Mega Cab but I don't tow anything at all...it's my daily driver. I have the 6.4 Liter Hemi with 4.10 diffs. I have almost 88k miles and have not had any issues to mention. The only two things that I would ask that RAM change is to make the fuel tank 45 gallons. Also, the "projector beam halogen" headlights are, in my opinion, for shit. I have changed the bulbs to 9011 "HIR" bulbs which is "Halogen Infrared Reflector" and they put out about 50% more light than the stock bulbs. I had also put a 2.5" leveling kit on and now the combination of the higher aim of the headlights and the upgraded bulbs have greatly improved my night driving. I like the RAM lineup and am following the new iteration that's coming out but I plan on driving my truck for as long as possible...another 10 years hopefully. I'm glad that you're having such good luck with yours too. Thank you for your excellent and informative videos!! Regards, Tom

    What do you mean by after treatment? I drive Powerstroke but wouldn’t count out the idea of owning a HD Ram because of the great reliability or the Cummins and Aisin trans.

    The flat bed is a great idea but, don't do alum.. Go steel instead. Alum. Has so much fatigue and you'd be tig welding all the time. Just have wood side bords and some ratchet straps and so much more versatile then a regular box bed. I wish that I could show you my truck and its set up. God bless you and your family brother!

    Maybe try xpel to protect your bumper? Helps quite a bit, alittle pricey depending how much of the vehicle you do but can save you a repaint on the bumper later on.

    Hey Paul. In another of your videos you said something about your tuner. I just recently got a truck just like yours but a 2015 in black.
    I know you said before that Ryan was your tuner, is he still offering tunes? I’ve tried contacting him but never get a response back. I want to eventually delete mine. Just want a mind tune like your 30 hp you use since I’ve got an aisin. If Ryan isn’t offering street driven tunes anymore who would you use? I tow 15k about once a week in the spring/summer/early fall months so I can’t trust just any tuner. Seems like most focus on making tunes to go fast.

      Tuner contribute to breaking stuff. Just adding more fuel, rpm and timing is a recipe for disaster. If you mod go with banks kits.

    • @KarasCyborg
      @KarasCyborg Před 5 lety

      I believe the saddle leather is better than the plastic leather (Pleather) of the Laramie. The Limited are heated/cooled in the front, and heated in the back. I like the leather feel of the console under my arm vs a plastic console that makes my arm sweat. It's hard to go from a limited back to a Laramie.

    • @pddieselpower
      @pddieselpower  Před 6 lety +5

      All depends if it were a inline 6 design. The engine (cummins) is what got me to invest into the ram trucks. There just mini tractors. :)

    • @ninersforlife7682
      @ninersforlife7682 Před 6 lety +1

      PD Diesel Power. I understand. So if they used a v8 diesel you wouldn't buy one?? I was just curious because I've never met anyone that said they would still buy a Ram if it had a diesel they Ram built. They only bought it because it has a Cummins.

      Justin Schooler it's made in Mexico lol. Well I owned 2 fairly recently and both had issues. But that was only my experience. Just like I know people that I've had them and they haven't had any issues.

      Justin Schooler damn that sucks. My 2015 Ram 3500 the transmission and transfer case both broke at the same time and 2 weeks after I got it back the rear end went out. In total it cost me $15,000. Lucky me lol

      Alex Guzman I have a coworker that has a new limited ecoboost and loves it. F150 is the top selling vehicle in the US (I’m not a ford fan by far). He bought the first ecoboost and had issues. Then bought the second (after license plate mount was moved due to turbo issues) and loved it. Decided he wanted the coyote 5.0 which worked fine for what he pulls (18’ inclosed). Just bought the new limited eco and swears it’s better then the last few and in love. I had the last 5.3 and have alway owned GM products till... I blew the same cylinder two times, the 3rd time they blamed a different cylinder and it cost me out the a$$! I now have an 05 cummins that I have a quarter million miles on it with few issues at all. Last 150k running on a 100hp tune. I pull around 11k here and there but the power is there when needed. Now that being said... The ecoboost gets around 14-15mpg and my gauge says I’m getting 22 but the calculator says 14.6. So check what truck you need for what you’re going to be using it for. Diesel is a bit more on pretty much everything, but in the long run I feel it has saved me plenty.

      Alex Guzman F-150 is the best combination between work and comfort capabilities. Chevys are good but a little soft for my liking. Ram 1500 coil springs are a joke and they’re a little sluggish but fine besides that. Find the one you like and drive the hell out of it

      Alex Guzman For the most part. That said, I do love my 2018 F150 with the 5.0. It rides nice and has really good power and has some great features. I can’t speak for towing yet because it has just under 200 miles and you’re not supposed to tow until you 1,000 miles but my 2016 pulled well so I wouldn’t about the same. But yeah, drive all three and see which one you like the best!

    hello I could use some help. krugerconcrete.com need to find a dispatcher person for this winter. I am wanting to use the company concrete trucks(1 tons) only in the winter months to haul stuff long distances not local, to keep some of the guys busy when concrete is not being poured. maybe you have some advise on how to go about finding a great dispatch guy to find me lanes and loads. Or maybe that could be you. Really have learned a lot in your videos. You saved me from buying a 68rfe that was a good deal. The 68rfe are junk compared to the Aisin.
