    I don't care what anyone says. Ford has the best interior out of all the major truck models. Very clean.

      I have driven both for many years and Ram looks so much more flush inside and was more quiet on engine turbo speed. Ford is better on 10 speed / mpg but wider parameter may shorten the engine/transmission life span vs Ram. MPG is better on Ford. Ram 3500 comes with TPMS and rear air bag.. F450 doesn't come with TPMS. They are both great trucks. My current vehicle is 2023 Ram 3500 Limited DRW HO 6.7 4.1 Gear Night Edition. My last vehicle is F350 DRW Limited 6.7 LWB 3.55. . I am really enjoying the engine brake on my Ram.. It is great...

    When you get used to having to tap the brake to engage the e-brake it's better - but sometimes I think it's more of an engine/tranny brake than an e-brake. However... my Cummins trucks had WAY better exhaust brakes that's irrefutable.

    Hey Paul, I’ve watched your channel for many years and you really helped me a lot whenever I got started in Hot Shot back in 2018. I would cruise the highway listening to your videos. I’ve moved on from that industry, but I’m still towing my skid steer and dump trailer just about every day now with my Cummins. I had a 2015 at the time but now I have a 2006 with the 5.9. I’m hoping to pick your brain About the exhaust manifold. Should I go with a steed speed or a BD? My gasket is leaking on a few cylinders for my stock unit and I’m around 340,000 miles now.

    I’ve got a 08 Chevy 2500HD LT and it is more comfortable than my 18 Ram 2500 that I had and 19 Ford 250. Though power wise I miss the Ram and the exhaust brake. Transmission issues ended that truck for me. The oil leak and dealership mechanic cost me my Ford when they did the oil pan gaskets. Less than 2K miles after they had it. The engine started knocking

I notice u cracked the heat up for 5-10 mins and the oil and coolant temps drop but what should the gauges be at?? And please put out the video on the exhaust brake and def filter I'm going to delete my truck cause my filter fills up no matter what additives I add!!! It idles it fills then regens!! Just a warning about the DPF percentage shown in the instrument panel. My 23 hasn’t moved off zero since the first 10k miles(129k currently), but if you use a scan tool it’s definitely in active regen regularly which should mean that the filter has some level of accumulation above zero percent. Even idling all night in sub freezing temperatures doesn’t increase the displayed percentage.

    • @shockinawesome9595
      @shockinawesome9595 Před měsícem

      My 24 it doesn’t even let you know when it’s doing a regen. And the forced regen you would have to see if it’s an option on fords website it used to be. I didn’t see it when I ordered mine. Granted the new DPF on all 23+ trucks has a 9th injector before the DPF so a regen doesn’t really matter for the engine now. And I haven’t see a MPG decrease when I see the DPF percentage drop very rapidly which I’m guessing is it doing a active regen

    Exhaust brake should be like semi's 3 positions that actually work, also a v8 will cost more to work on than a straight 6 ,more room and 2 less injectors on a 6 . Why would you have a work truck with a sunroof ?. What is the cost to buy a Ford as opposed to Ram and which has better resale value.
