Actually zayn the king perfect in everywhere
Zayn's vocal is another level, I honestly think he is one of the best male vocalists of this generation. I wanted him to come back to perform live so bad!! :/

when Zayn left the band Liam got all of Zayn's falsetto/head voice solo's such as you and I and best song ever. Group performances I'd recommend are Ready to Run on SNL, Night Changes acoustic, Live While We're Young acoustic (the one I'm referring to has like Chinese subtitles), Clouds at Coca Cola and End of the Day (Clouds and End of the Day are without Zayn though). For Niall - Dear Patience at the royal albert hall, cover of New York State of Mind; Zayn - Like I Would, its you; Liam - Bedroom Floor, Midnight; Harry- Falling; Louis - Copy of a copy of a copy

@@xima7140 Liam’s ‘you and I’ high notes were amazing, precisely because they were arranged for Zayn who has a beautiful tenor voice. I’m just amazed that Liam who’s a lyric baritone managed to put his own spin on those notes. Zayn left mid-tour and someone had to take over, the fact that Liam was amazing takes nothing away from Zayn. Because for me although they are both A rated vocalists, their voices are completely different ❤️.

Zayn is on another level in my opinion, he is one of the best vocalist.
If you love their harmonies then please listen to ‘little things’, ‘spaces’ and ‘summer love’. I would suggest live performances of these. They all have such vocal intimacy when they sing harmonies, especially Zayn and Liam.

Zayn's vocal is always always slays
Zayn has a beautiful tenor voice and really excels with his high notes. But these particular ‘you and I’ high notes have become such a contentious topic, because when Zayn left mid OTRA tour Liam was given those high notes to perform, along with most of Zayn’s solos, especially the ones with the highest notes. Fans then began comparing them (which is inevitable). But I have to say that for me Liam and Zayn have such different voices, so I really can’t compare in respect of like for like, I can only state my preference.
I’m just amazed that even though the ‘you and I’ high note was arranged or created for Zayn’s tenor voice, Liam (lyric baritone) managed to put his own spin on that note when he performed them live. I love love Liam’s vocals 🔥
I don't think this was one of their best performance actually (apart from zayn's high note of course). You should react to Clouds live at Coca Cola FM studio or Drag Me Down live in Ottawa

@@xima7140 Who isn’t wowed by Zayn’s high notes. Although my favourite voice is Liam’s. They’re both A rated vocalists, so I guess it’s down to personal preference. But when it comes to ‘you and I’ or ‘right now’ live performances Zayn really excels.

As she said they all have a different style, as she said Harry’s voice is a little rougher than as an example liams, so yes I agree most of the time Harry had way more singing time, but she definitely judged them on the style and not who sings what or how long someone’s sings so I do think it’s kinda fair. (In this song there are other songs were I completely agree with you)

This song showcases Zayns voice. I also love his harmonies with Liam, also in Fireproof and little things, they sound so good together. But I disagree with anyone who says Zayns vocals are by far the best, Harry has improved so much and what a lot of people think of as him straining is a vocal style, his vocals are elastic, with lots of volume and rich timbre

Zayn solo was actually accompanied by three part harmonies in the second half, Liam and Niall were on harmonies. Then for Louis’ part there was also three part harmonies in the second half with Liam and Niall. These performances never really show Liam that much, because he is almost always singing backing and or harmonies.

I don’t agree. I think he’s the best at high notes, but for me Liam is their best vocalist. Since they’re both A rated vocalists, it’s down to personal preference. Is incredibly easy to be wowed by Zayn’s voice because of his high notes.

I have to say that Zane has an incredible voice and his high notes and falsettos were definitely featured in this song. But for me in oneD these are usually the only parts that he sings. Of course Harris stands out because of his charisma and he’s given a lot of vocals to sing. I heard you stop the tape and say oh wow that was just so beautiful, after Louis sang his solo and then it was combined with Liam and Niles harmonies with him. Louis deserve so much credit as the harmonies would never sound the same without his voice! 💙💙💙

harry has improved A LOT since his 1D days because he used to struggle with straining & breath control like crazy (he still does a little) but definetly not as a few years ago, still he definetly is not better than zayn if you think harry is a better vocalist than zayn then you're just biased i'm sorry.

@@lu-13 firstly if Harry was straining his vocals would not move around with such ease and his voice would break while singing, second he was out of breath from running around on stage and learnt that he had to improve his fitness in order to sing and run around and third at no point did I say Harry’s vocals are better than Zayns, I’m not biased thanks
