The first harmony you commented on was Zayn on main vocals with Liam and Niall harmonising. Then the second harmony was Louis on main vocals with Liam and Niall harmonising. This song just has three part harmonies. You and I is not one of my favourites, but I love the three-part harmonies and high notes at the end.

Honestly 1D always was super underrated and miscategorized as just a “Teeny bopper bubblegum pop boy band like all others”.
The first two albums maybe, but from midnight memories and on when they had more real musical freedom, they seriously did some AMAZING stuff and a lot of deeper stuff as well that wasn’t JUST the typical shit.
Late reply. The management and label wanted to show that image when the band was first signed. The miscategorization is actually about the target audience, not the band. They being underrated during the first years was actually because of that. Labels tend to think that teenagers are only into pop and not interested in other types of music. They wanted to catch teenagers' atention with that type of music forgeting that pop music had a bigger boom among teenagers in the 90's and don't have it so much since the 2000's. I agree with you that when they had more freedom to write their own stuff (music and lyrics), for whatever the reason was for them to get it after two years, they got more apreciated because of the variation in rythms they gave out.

They weren’t all singing together when you commented. It was Zayn with Liam and Niall harmonizing. Then Louie leads with Liam and Niall harmonizing. And the flags were Britain and Ireland for the boys and Italy where concert took place.

They def have a good amount of slower and ballad songs on each album dont let the singles they have for radio play fool you... And yes Louis voice is always pretty distinctive and recognizable love it so much so unique and beautiful.

Hey suffi! You should react to "one direction - diana", this song has alot of different meaning. Some people think that Diana is actually mean "die"(Dia) and "anorexia"(ana)(health issues). And some people think its about a one direction fan girl who suicide (some say one direction made this song before the suicide for her, hoping that she wouldnt do it, kinda sad). Or some people say that this song is for princess diana. Kinda confused what this song about, i wish you can maybe explain it.

You were right, I forgot how great the song is live. I love watching them each singing their parts and then a few harmonizing together at a time. To me this song is so catchy that it gets stuck in my head. Henry kills the chorus and of course Zane kills it at the end. And Louis, Like you said, his voice stands out to me so much. I would recommend watching the music video on your own. It’s not the greatest most shocking video but there’s some really really cool things about it and it’s definitely more chill than others. Thank you Sofi for another great onedear reaction. It’s so enjoyable and I don’t know why it lifts my heart on certain days. I might ruin this for some of you, but you are talking a lot about how massive the stadium and the crowd is. I was there and even though the concert was sold out for two nights in just half an hour or so (I don't remember exactly how fast), they didn't sell as many tickets for the standing area around the stage. It was half empty down there and so they edited the crowd for the movie...
But still, this concert was amazing. The people around you, everyone singing at the top of their lungs. My forever favorite place!

One Direction’s music videos are never “just a regular music video”
It was at the end of the concert and the first song in the encore. They opened with Midnight Memories. Last song was Best Song Ever.
Yup. Louis! He didn't have many solos, nor very long ones, but he always stood out with his very distinct voice. Well. For me he did. :P
Zayn is really standing out in this song though. Liam took over his parts after he left and he did it amazingly.
Together though. That's why I fell for this band. They just sound so amazing together. It was at this time in 2014 when they did this tour that I got introduced to them so this is the era I love the most, aka album 3 cause that's the songs they toured here. But then they got better and better ofc and I just love all their songs now. Even songs I don't like... I mean... *lol* It's the nostalgia I suppose and the fact these lads are just so endearing.
