I specialise in teaching children, and teenagers pop and musical theatre but I am trained in all genres of music. when you said "why isn't he bigger"...HE IS SO BIG lmao he's incredibly famous and all his tours sell out. I've personally listened to harry for years and always tell ppl how talented he is and I think the ppl who aren't yet fans just assume he doesn't have a great voice instead of listening to it because when everyone listens and sees how funny he is as well he just continues to grow in popularity. But believe me, he's deff big and everyone knows it.
He is not that big , he deserves better . He is just known because he was in one direction but now his solo career . .. he is underrated .

The music industry doesn't work that way. Ability & talent isn't what makes you big in this industry...
Big is due to labels spending a lot of publicity money while ability and talent brings the longevity and can still make people multi millionaires.

Harrys stage presence reminds me alot of Mick Jaggers. Especially that rather flamboyant hand on his hip Stance. Also bis clothing overall style is quite similar.

One of my favourite things to do is watch people’s faces light up as they listen and witness Harry’s magical voice and stage presence. And you didn’t disappoint. I can absolutely see him still making music and be a successful artist 20 years from now.
I feel you. He should be Bigger.😭 People need to spread the word. He is so down to earth. He does all kinds of different songs. And not all can’t pull that off. But he does!!!

One of those sign of the times performances was on the Graham Norton show and I was so stunned by it, it's still saved on my sky box. Also noted the keyboard player rocking a Nick Rhodes look (for the youngsters the keyboard player from Duran Duran)

For me, he had the perfect voice when he was around 20, when he was still in 1D. But he has a beautiful tone. No wonder he was basically 1D's lead vocalist.

He was my favorite vocalist from 1D. Followed closely by Niall, then Louis, Liam and Zayn.

You gave zero critique on vocal technique. All you did was watch and enjoy / not enjoy. While I see a reaction to his singing, I don't see any vocal coach expertise coming out. To me, the way Harry sings will not be sustainable for a lifelong career and that's what I was hoping from this video. While it's sounding great today, fast forward to when he is 50 years old and Sign of the Times will not be sounding very good unless he's able to learn better vocal support rather than using sheer force.
Not necessarily true. Tom Jones is 82 years old. Have you listened to him lately? He’s still got it. He has that complete natural ability to just just opened his mouth and sing, just like Harry does. They were born with it. A lot of people I have to really work at it and trying the voice to be good lose their vocal abilities as they age, but not everyone. I’ll bet money Harry is going to be a lifetimer. Unless his respiratory problems due to his asthma say otherwise.

It's a type of "rock n roll" style; he likes the style and was doing it on purpose, because that vocal distortion and tempo and playfulness is a big thing in that genre of rock he's going for. It's stylized for a genre not popular with most of this generation/era. Think about 60s rock and 70s rock mixed with a little tiny bit of 90s rock....with an 80s bigness extravagant nature that decade was known for. So, better yet; it's a mixture of different rock genres and fashions because you can't ever talk about a Styles performance without the showman outfits he prances around in. Grand extravagant rock mixture that is this man.
