I'm with you coach bob about having the adventure. I was in the hospital with covid and lung pneumonia. Went into the hospital not being able to breath. They had to put me on a hundred percent oxygen. Two full days I struggled for a breath. Then with all the great care I started pulling out of it. I thought I was going to have lung damage because I did not know where this covid was going to take me. I thought my riding days let alone normal life was over. I am happy to say got full health again. My rides have become even more spectacular. Because when you thought you were going to lose it. You pull more from life because you don't know when that day is coming that you wont be able to do this any more. That's why I have the youtube channel. So I can look back and relive the experience. Thanks both of you for your testimony of life. God bless both of you for many more years to come.

Amen Coach...Just got back from 2000 mile trip with my son. Me on my Spyder..him on his Africa Twin. Okla. texas.N Mexico.Utah. Colo..Kansas. 7 days including 13000 ft pass in Lake City Co. I will be 75 next month..Living the dream baby!!!! Lol

Good on both of you for living your lives! 22 years ago I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Thankfully I'm now doing well. But dealing with that illness made me commit to living my life and exploring the world. Keep up the adventures. Now that I have my Spyder I plan on doing trips similar to yours. Coach Vic - you are indeed made of iron!

Great video. I have been to both mile 0 (love Key West) and mile 1 many times as my children have transplanted their families from CT to Eagle Lake Maine (that was that large lake that you passed right before you got to Fort Kent). If anyone ever heads up that way, stay at the Overlook Motel and cabins in Eagle Lake. The view of the lake is amazing and not far from Fort Kent. Lots to see up and do up there. Glad that you got to experience it all.

Outstanding Coach Bob and Coach Vic, MISSION COMPLETE. Fl. to Main and Mile Marker 1 to Mile Marker 1. Coach Vic, yes, during my Marine Corps Cold Weather Training at Fort Drum, NY in Jan. to Mar. 1977, the main thing is to layer, layer, layer, and that's what I still do when I go on a PGR Mission in the winter time here in NC. Safe travels back home.

When I travel. I don't get up before 0730. Have breakfast at a restaurant. On the road by 0900. Stop at five for dinner. Go till 7:30 pm. Enjoy an hour of the outdoors. Bed by no later than ten. Usually get a little over 400 miles in each day. It's cool you can do that. But I think when I worked for Cessna on their business jets we were on overtime constant for 13 years. At work at five which means getting up at 0345 to four pm six days a week. Now I'm retired I made a pact. No getting up earlier than 0700.

I don't know how you could beat two cross country trips, but as an idea for future rides, visit the missed states from your previous two trips. Personally, I want to complete the the entire historic route 66.

Many people do use car tires. I haven't made the switch yet. I am considering though.

We hope to do that in the next few years. Had it not been for COVID we would've run up into Canada this time.
