What Effect Does Birth Order Have on Your Mental Health?
We all know the stereotypes. Only children are spoiled. Oldest children are responsible and ambitious. Middle children crave attention and are natural people-pleasers, and youngest children are free spirits. Are any of these true? And, if so, how do they affect us as we grow? In this episode of The Brain Warrior’s Way Podcast, Dr. Daniel and Tana Amen talk about the ‘Sibling / Birth Order Dragons’ which are born out of the highs and lows you share with your siblings during your childhood, and the advantages and disadvantages they bring.
You’re Not Your Child’s Best Friend: How to Raise Responsible Children
We all want our children to be happy and avoid suffering, but sometimes that can run counter to your job as a parent - to raise responsible, prepared children ready to face the challenges the world will throw at them. In this episode of The Brain Warrior’s Way Podcast, Dr. Daniel and Tana Amen discuss the ‘Children Dragon’ and how to keep your child’s voice in your head from manipulating you.
The Importance of Mentors on your Physical and Emotional Health
Our brain health and the way we see and interact with the world is influenced by a multitude of factors. One of the most important is the mentors we meet throughout our lives - the people that tear us down to (hopefully) build us back stronger. In this episode of The Brain Warrior’s Way Podcast, Dr. Daniel and Tana Amen discuss the ‘Teachers / Coaches Dragon’ and the advantages of finding one that will push you to be your best.
Peer Pressure: How to Avoid Getting Burned by the Bully Dragons
The way we treat and are treated by our peers has a profound effect on us. Our bullies can leave us doubting ourselves or questioning our own worth, but is it true that “Hurt people hurt people”? In this episode of The Brain Warrior’s Way Podcast, Dr. Daniel and Tana Amen discuss the ‘Friends / Popular Kids / Mean Girls / Bullies Dragon’ and the effect the internet is having on this generation’s children.

    some general trends:
First-born: Often described as responsible, reliable, and achievement-oriented. They may have a natural inclination towards leadership and tend to be perfectionists. They may also feel pressure to set a good example for younger siblings.
Middle-born: Middle children are often more flexible, social, and diplomatic. They may be good at mediating conflicts and building connections between siblings. They might also feel a sense of independence, as they often strive to carve out their own identity separate from older and younger siblings.
Youngest: Youngest children tend to be outgoing, creative, and charming. They may enjoy being the center of attention and have a knack for entertaining others. They may also be more rebellious or adventurous, as they strive to differentiate themselves from older siblings.
Only child: Only children often exhibit traits similar to first-borns, such as being responsible and achievement-oriented. However, they may also be more independent and mature for their age, as they typically receive more attention and resources from parents.
These are just generalizations, and individual personalities can vary widely based on factors such as parenting style, genetics, and life experiences.
    😊😊

When I was twelve my mom told me your not moving out your going to move in an apartment with a guy when you grow up. ☹️ This was said shortly after I declared I would get a job and become independent and move out into my own place. This is sad because I'm now over twenty nine and still live at home.
