I've been watching this guy for years and somehow have never seen his April Fool's videos. Sure glad I found them however finally.
If I were interested in getting my hands on a Coq, possibly even one as small as this, do you know where I might start looking? Would someone be willing to let me handle their Coq if I don't have one of my own, or do Coq-owners generally prefer someone to a bit of Coq-handling experience beforehand? I'm new to this game and not quite sure of what the Coq etiquette is.
Owning a Coq is a bit special, particularly if you only have one at your disposal. I know my Coq like the back of my hand and always feel a little weird when a stranger handles it for the first time.
Every Coq is different but they generally share similar weak spots. You might struggle a little at the beginning but you will succeed even if it's your first time, it might only take longer than with more experience. Of course, older, more used Coqs might be less responsive to usual techniques, or just completely break loose without having to put any effort into it. Depends on the manufacturer and the owner.

I would say the technique is one different from each person. Just do what feels like it would make your Coq bust :)
As for where to find them, I think you could probably locate them at the nearest hardware store. Ask the employees nicely if they have a recommendation for the best coq to suit your needs, and I am sure they'll recommend the one that they like best. As for the handling process, I am sure they could give you some pointers or recommend some resources on the internet or from their own personal experience. Lots of coqs behave similarly, so if you get the method of handling it down with a little practice, you should be set. Just get a good feel of it, and don't be afraid to ask for help or guidance if needed.
