Universal Healthcare is not exclusively European. It's actually pretty much exclusively the U.S. that doesn't have it. Even Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and pretty much every Middle Eastern country, Asia, Africa, South America, Australia all have Universal Healthcare.
If you tried to tip a pharmacist in the UK they would almost certainly take offense. In most cases, tipping compensates for low pay and is an abomination.
The metal festival lady was more referncing she was called American, not separated by race into African-American which is a weird thing that only happens in the States. Same with "Irish-American, Italian-American" it's just plain odd to everyone else. Born in America? Yeah we'll call you American
The concept of kids not being able to play outside alone is just impossible for me to believe. So glad to live in New Zealand.
In Germany it's a crime to not help. I think it's called duty to rescue in English. You can get a fine or even be sentenced to prison for up to a year in extreme cases.
It's funny how Daniel, who is a gun lover and passionate is so pissed that the girl was frightened by a loud noise and assumed it's a gunshot. It really speaks for itself.
The lady that was happy to be called an American was also because in the USA she would be called an African American when in fact she is just an American after all.
The thing with the people being scared from what they thought was gunshots is that while it might not be the first thing that comes to every Americans mind, it is basically the last thing that comes to our minds.
Dont get offended because she is afraid of men. She knows good men exist, of course. But i think it is very much a thing of would you let your child play outside on her own - can you trust strange men approaching you. I feel these go hand in hand some what. Some areas both are okay, some they really are not.
I've seen several reactions to these videos: finally someone understands what the black woman means when she says "just an american". 🍺
There's a reason we don't have guns in England. We quite like our kids to come home from school!
When I was young, i used to idolize America, but as the older I get, the more I feel bad for Americans.
As for freedom, they are over 90 countries in the world that are free and ironically America is the least free of them all.
Guys, the shooting thing is because all of them looked like they were straight of school studying or traveling, and had just finished years of weekly or monthly active shooter drills. Whether in a safe area or not all schools seem to do them and the fear is instilled, unlike when you grew up. Go a little easy on them because the system has conditioned them.
"it is unfortunate that the first thing she thought of was a gunshot"..... isn't that exactly her point?
If you come to the UK as a tourist and you become ill whilst you're here you will be treated by the GP and/or hospital more than likely free of charge. However non residents are expected to have some kind of travel healthcare insurance. You won't be treated free of charge for pre existing conditions. The NHS may be free of charge at the point of delivery but it's paid for by National Insurance contributions. It's the National Health Service not the International Health Service!
I was in Scotland doing a week long course (theater direction) during the summer. I'm insulin dependent and had miscalculated the number of pens of slow acting insulin I needed by two pens or something. So I went to the Pharmacy to basically beg for insulin and they told me absolutely not, even if they completely understand I need it. So they gave me a number for a doctor's office to get a prescription first thing next morning.

I would like to visit US one day but I need to make sure I don’t get ill or injured. Also the fact that any idiot can own & carry a gun in US is pretty terrifying! Maybe I won’t go after all! 😂
I'm from Cardiff..... Our city has always been multi racial, mostly due to the world famous Tiger Bay, which in its day was one of, if not the busiest ports in the world. So during WW2 the Afro American GI's were not allowed to visit the area due to numbers deserting. The reason being that they had never seen or experienced racial equality before, and they didn't want to leave. True and sad story. Cheers for all the vids you do guys!!
