    Sorry Kanon, fiber is the theorical limit, you could go a lite faster in a vacuum where you get 100% of light speed but would be impractical to build in ground/sea. Star Link kind of benefits from this but its orbit is too high to improve the ping, you still have to traverse several km of atmosphere. Maybe Elon builds a low orbit premium network for gamers but it would be expensive for marginal gains. Your next best bet would be a room temperature super conductor.

    Classes equals content is what pearl abyss thinks of BDO ! lol

    Its why I wish dfo dungeon fighter online wasnt buried under all the kmmo progression, because a good amount of the classes have very highly rewarding skill expression, while classes will have 16-25 active skills, but the gear in the game lets your augment how many of them work, that it nears path of exile levels of how much you can change the skills animation, hit count, range, speed, size, cool down, animation cancelable or, to the point you can spam them. Hell you can even change how the skill works if you are on the ground or in the air etc. Then the gear sets can have pretty rewarding gimmicks that adds sometimes 2-3 more layers to your game play plan. That they dont even have to release new classes, they release new gear often enough that lets you change up a classes play style which keeps things fresh in that regard. But it is indeed content because its roster based game that u can even bring your alts into some solo content as your own party.

    I played BDO when it came out. I mastered the Ranger with animation cancels and loved it. when awakening came out and they forced me to play a MELEE Ranger I quit BDO, what a stupid design, to force a Ranged player to play Melee.

    I'm still at the beginning of the video but: If Destiny 2 released a new class tomorrow I'd be hyped as fuck, because classes and class customization in this game carries around 50% of the experience for it. If tomorrow Final Fantasy XIV releases a new job I already know it's dogwater so I don't really care about it.
    Ok, but why? FF14's has no RPG systems that allow for unique classes, period. So you know that whatever comes out is another flavor of the same pump and dump gauge based gameplay.
    But in Destiny 2, we could have a thousand hunters together and all of them could have different gameplay with choices they make that affect everyone, not just them. Because in Destiny 2 we have classes that can go invisible, that can create cover, that can stun and freeze opponents, heal others, you name it. All of these options can even be found within the same class. And the gear you find in the game can often completely change your 'rotation' or your game plan, rather.
    None of that exists in XIV, so really, classes are absolutely 'content' when the game has proper RPG systems that support it.

    Albion Online, where you are what you wear

    I hate animation canceling. It's ok if it's like skills interacting with eachother, or 1 or 2 classes take advantage of. For instance machinist in LA using q before r making its animation faster. But in like ESO, where literally every spell has to be canceled with a basic attack in-between or you're crippling your damage, it made it tedious and annoying to me so much that I quit where I otherwise enjoyed the game. And was clearly not intended, just poor design.

    • @Neeko2lo
      @Neeko2lo Před 2 měsíci +3

      I have never played ESO but I agree with that sentiment in general.
      I love animation cancels when they aren't a chore if that makes sense

      i think the worst part of ESO animation cancels is how stupid it looks when you minmax them. your character is basically standing still and doing small little animation stutters for each skill lol..

    in my times ppl just picked coolest to them class once, ignoring all meta w/e bs. Now its all about fotm or you wont get into group meta slaves bs low balls ppl and lazy devs capitalize on that balancing game in shit way on purpose so you have to reroll and have more content to do while lazy devs didnt introduce any new content at all
