Saint said at 1:47:41 that in KR there is supp shortage 1 content before endgame and cautty seemed suprised. Maybe its cuz he makes lobbies as a streamer, but this is completely the case in NA also. Just open up party finder for akkan and see ALL the normal lobbies "lf supp" and all the hard lobbies have 2 supp and say "lf dps"

i just returned to the game for the first time since brel release. i had 3200 hours in one year thats 125 days of gameplay while working 5 days a week. i burnt out hard but coming back and seeing aeromancer slayer and soul eater and elgacia was truly awesome

6 bard main here since release. I personally enjoy playing my bards and never had a "boredom" moment with it. In my experience there was always room to improve and grow as a bard as the game progress. Just like how dps mains have a certain enjoyment with what they do. I always feel satisfaction seeing a "radiant supporter" or performing better and getting acknowledged by randoms saying they had better numbers with me. It sucks not much enjoys it as much as I do T_T. I think supports can be challenging too and needs understanding on how to mid max it for late game contents. I have no issue with how it is right now though and still continue to push my 6 bards as best as I can :)

The way lost ark is heading I don't think it will have a future at this rate. Next year we have a few promising mmos along with ff14 coming to Consoles

@@hollowknight3050 The direction is improving though. Unless you have been living under a rock, they have addressed a lot of the problems which concerned even the Western audience, such as the amount of time spent in doing dailies and homework raids.
None of the MMOs that are coming out next year look promising at least in terms of combat and raid design. Sorry to burst your bubble. As for FF14... moving from Lost Ark to FF14 in terms of combat is like devolving from homo sapiens to an amoeba. There are some pros to playing FF14, in the sense that you can play at your pace, on a single char and the game does not expect anything out of you, but other than that, the combat is so wooden-dick, so bad that it breaks all immersion despite the raids actually being well designed. But no matter how well designed and fun the raids are, if the combat sucks, they suck as well. In Lost Ark, even a badly designed raid like Brel is still great become the combat is great.
@Kalimdor199Menegroth considering I play lost ark everyday since day 1 release ir doesn't take a rocket science that lost ark needs massive improvements. Yeah balance patch is good and updates but everyone is in a agreement that we don't really have much to do at end game. U do chaos, guardian and raids. Most mmos offer more than what I just listed. By no means am I saying lost ark sucks but considering I have over 3k hours and roster 210 I'm pretty sure ik what's the deal with lost ark by now. Addressing problems is fine but there's a difference between Addressing it and implementing it

Sorry to bust your bubble but just like me alot of people are excited for it and as for ff14 u can't be dense enough to not realize that xbox players that only has xbox for the most part never played ff14. I have since release and still play it. Lost ark currently has 40k while ff14 almost doubles buy both are good games. What happening after thaemine? Are we getting tier 4 still? Will we have permanent content that's not raids? Will we have a different progression system? Will we have better end game. Will we have more to do? Those are the questions the community are asking along with better cosmetics and getting to 1630 for players who don't spend is gonna be a massive pain

Yo, how nice would it be to just hit matchmake for raids and not have to play lobby finder because the content isn't so punishing that you can feasibly clear REPEATABLE CONTENT you matchmake for? That'd be insane. It probably won't happen any time soon because there's probably a lot of little problems with it, but it would be nice to not stress about finding a party to get into. One can dream though. One can dream...
My idea;
Every raid should have an easy and a hard mode, with easy mode having similiar, but less rewards (just like Akkan has now).
Item-level requirements should be the same though AND remove all "one player fucked up" wipe mechanics from normal mode. Make it so it can be cleared in matchmaking and even with 7 people dead.
Hard mode then is similiar to what Raids are now and before you can even go into hard mode, you need to have cleared some kind of tutorial related to that gate (dodge normal patterns for a minute without getting hit, play mechanics by yourself) this would look similiar than the current Tower, just with the raid boss and it's mechanics. As soon as you cleared that, you can do the hard mode raid. If you just cannot clear it, then sorry, you have no justification to do the hard mode but you can still do the normal mode.
If a group really wants to prog a hard mode raid, let them be able to turn off this requirement for them so they can enjoy a new raid blind. For public groups you just leave this requirement on.
Could make role queue (dps/support)
The queue pops when the game finds 2 supports and 6 dps...
You get priority as support role, dps have to wait a bit longer.
And it can be MMR based like according to number of clears on x difficulty for x raid, and tries to match you with people with similar exp.
Would be really cool, you could have leaderboards and stuff maybe. Would be a good fit because this is actually a PvP game, not PvE...
Yes you kill monsters 'together', but the whole game is basically a competition over who is the strongest. And if you on P1, P2 is always the enemy team lol.

You're still talking like they actually give a fuck. There are common sense changes they are well aware of that should have implemented years ago that they refuse to do because it might dip into their short term revenue. Every decision they make they ask themselves "how can this make us more money?" instead of "what's good for the long term health of the game?" and this is why Lost Ark is dying slowly and painfully.
We get it, the raids are too hard for u. everyone who does their homework and studies raids finds groups and enjoys the risk gameplay.
@@grantsnyder3250 bro, you can be the best player on the planet and you can still get gatekept... Nobody knows who you are. You can have a build that somebody doesn't like and you can get gatekept. You can have 200 roster level and get gatekept because it's not 250 roster level. Don't have LOS 30? gtfo. etc. etc. etc.
And it's annoying, people actually want to play, not sit in lobby. The only way you get to play instantly is if you over-gear the content, fine on mains but alt runs become a pain in the ass. And I can't imagine what it's like for a newer player. Probably takes a newer player an hour to get into an endgame raid... who knows. And maybe it disbands after 2 fails xd
back to lobby yaaaaaay.
And this is why some sort of matchmaking system (that matches you with people of a similar skill level) would be cool!

I will only ever take the “the devs made the changes that made sense at the time” excuse so far. Playing the game, I recognized numerous red flags that you had to question under what circumstances the devs would actually think things would be a good idea. Things like:
1. The rigid server system that wasn’t set up to adapt to changing player numbers. Do they think the servers will stay full forever?
2. Island content similarly collapsing when the population doesn’t touch it anymore.
3. The entirety of the raid structure discouraging any failure. Things like no redoing gates so you’re stuck if your group fails, no ilvl cap for raiding so people constantly pursue higher parties, instant wipe mechanics at every difficulty, per character lockouts so you’re encouraged to clear many times a week. No shit gatekeeping is so high. Failure is punished so significantly.
The game has systems that make you question if the designer played a multiplayer game before. It’s not a lack of foresight, it’s a lack of common sense. That it all lays at the feet of Gold River matters more than any charisma he has.

looking back at this video im starting see theirs no point to fomo once u got ur akkan set u can take ur time honeing unless ur ritch and wanna do highest content possible each time in which case i hope u got deep pockets xD otherwise u can take ur time and get to 1610-1620 when ur rdy afterall content isnt going anywhere unless the game shuts down

Id really love to just MM Sonavel with my Wardancer....but without mana buff its basically unplayable, on my Summoner it barely is and on my Aero i have to change gear sets. You could argue i could make adjustments for each one of them but then again what is the advantage MMing then if i have to go through menus anyways.
I MM Sonavel on my summoner just fine. Only problem i have with mana is FMH soul eater.

@@clementguitard6653 Usually 4 Dom 2 Entropy while raiding. I tend to go 2 Dom 2 Entropy 2 Nightmare on Sonavel specifically. Still Run Oom without Sup though.

1620 & voldis HM will be whale lobbies. you wouldnt get into that content unless you have an entire sheet of lvl 10 gems. so if it helps, I would bet that most people wouldn't be doing HM week 1

This makes him great at explaining things like known facts and organizing ideas and rumors floating around the community, but when he has his own ideas, it's just some Trump politics level shit (both for and against, the IQ drops by about 2million when he's the topic)

It's always the asians, and MAINLY Korean MMOs that have such a huge delay between regions. Korean companies refuse to actually globalize effectively and put their hands on other regions, so they just outsource their game to the richest schmuck that wants to do it. It's not "impossible", they just did it in a way that it won't happen xD.
Or do ya'll think Riot's MMO is going to have this delay? Does WoW have this delay? New world etc.
Every single MMORPG that handles distribution and operation of their game via a partner publisher in separate regions have a delay, yes. You listed off a bunch of games that are entirely self-published by the developer globally.
