Yep since the announcement i do thaemine and thats it i log out for the week. My characters all between 1620 and 1635. Wont be doing echidna honing so dont even need to do that raid. Gg SG giving me a nice break.

When they were talking about whether the mats would transfer to tier 4 it made me think that maybe a good side effect of Tier 4 for the West is bot activity going down. Based on what we know it seems to be pretty hard to get 1620 even with the new honing help, this may dissuade bots from being able to farm T4 mats and effect the economy.
Well most bots get gold by farmimg mats for craft like fish, relic etc. And now they will have gold from solo content too, so g2g still will be gucci
@@l2FARl Thats a good point, I didn't consider life skills. Also yeah I wonder if solo gold will be an issue too. Maybe there is a way they can provide like tokens to hone instead of gold for solo raids.

I think it makes sense in that it lets them get more mileage out of dev time, though it sometimes feels a bit copy paste to fill ilvls with more content. I don't like that it's barely a choice half the time. Sure, some people do "easy NM Akkan" and previously some people stayed in NM Brel, but most of the time you're kinda forced into HM. Either the HM is literally mandatory (Voldis and old Brel) or the upgrade pace of NM is dogshit slow (Valtan, Vykas, and Kayangel - Akkan is kinda whatever because skipping NM wasn't reasonable for most). 50% mats just feels awful.
A few rezzes in NM would be good and I've heard Saintone float the idea as well, in the name of easing in new players a bit better so they feel less stressed to never mess up. I think it was essentially "NMs are too challenging for an entry level raid that new players are required to do for progression." I think HMs are great for those that want the extra challenge, but they should be optional for people that want a more relaxed approach to the game and progression.
Best podcast ever. I don't even play lost ark anymore lmao. I'm a bit mixed about loaon. I'd like to return, but it's a p2w life consuming Korean mmo so by definition it's bad for you. Doesn't help that community is the most elitist, gatekeepy, and toxic I've ever seen. It's all made worse by lack of supports which you wait for days to do a few pulls (even with discords). It's great brand new players are getting solo raids, but doesn't help me get into thaemine as it's still unchanged. By the time thaemine solo is out i might not even care anymore..

You are doing 6x chars to 1620, elixirs/trans on them, pomp adv honning and then wait till T4 come out in 4-5 months for free 1660, then its gg wp.

They need to get rid of the older fusion materials. They're not something a new player should have to deal with to get to 1580. After 1580? Fine. It's the latest materials for T3, so whatever.
