On Monday 21st February 2022, our darling Amani passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She had fought a 22month battle with brain cancer with the utmost grace, courage & determination.
This video shows her funeral held at @Luton Central Mosque with thousands of mourners in attendance. Friends, family & those who had never even met Amani before travelled from all across the country to pay their respects.
Mourners described how peaceful they found Amanis funeral and one of the mosque teachers gave a heartfelt speech where he spoke of the positive impact Amani has had on others due to her podcasts, her campaigning & raising awareness about brain cancer.
Amanis life & death proves to be a stark reminder to us all that life is short and what is most important is the legacy we leave behind.

i lost my cousin not long ago, he got murdered by some thugs and he was only 23. wallahi that shook me, i went from praying 0 times a day to 5. this life is nothing, meaningless.
i really hope you are able to reunite with your beautiful daughter in jannah, be with her forever. inshallah.

I lost both my sisters due to brain tumor cancer..one died in 1995 aged 16 and other died 2018 aged 31..i really miss her..i was watching Amani's story with lots of prayers and tears but sadly she passed away..feeling sooo much heavyweight on my heart..prayers for her family..

I haven't even met Amani, all I know about her is what her family posts on social media and yet I am heartbroken and deeply saddened at the loss of a beautiful life and soul. A loss made worse by the fact that there is so limited research and resource available to fight this cruel disease. May Allah grant her the highest rank in Al Jannah Al Firdous and to her dearest parents and family. May Allah grant Amani's family sabr that doesn't hurt and the best of rewards in this world and in the hereafter.

I watched her journey and her podcast with imam Omer Suliman affected me alot, specially when she asked him to describe jannah for her and when she asked about the gift for her parents if she passed away..
We will miss her in this dunyah but in the day of judgment we will meet with her and she will be more beautiful, more happy and she will be grateful for everything happened for her in this dunyah..

It isn't her final journey. We believe there's day of resurrection, walking across a path known as siratmostakim, may Allah have mercy upon us all and this sister. Allah says Each soul shall taste death. Insha'Allah have her in your dua much and ummah we really need it.
May Allah bless her with a grave full of noor and sukoon and the breeze of paradise. May Allah reward her with Jahnnatul Firdaus for all her physical and emotional pain she went through. Rest in peace in Allah's mercy forever. Ameen

I’ve been following Amani’s story since the beginning and she feels like a noble sister to me. No words of ours can ever be adequate- so in the words of the beloved Messenger “O Allah! Forgive all our sins, whether few or more, the first and the last, the apparent and the hidden.” (Muslim)
Although I didn't see her but I cried on her death. She was really great young lady. May Allah give Sabr to her family. Ameen
Three or five days ago I saw her video when she got honor diploma in her bed. I was so impressed by this. Now I saw this burial. It really touched my heart. Rest in peace. May Allah Almighty grant her with Jannah 🌷 Inna lillah va inna ilayhi raciun.

Asaalamu alaikum sister Yasmin and family. I came across Amani's story after she had sadly passed away. Since then I have listened to her many podcasts and subhanallah she has set a beautiful example for many young girls. At such young age, she left an amazing legacy behind! To have complete trust in Qadr and to turn something good even in the most difficult of times. These experiences sometimes take decades and one still doesnt reach the level that she has mashallah achieved in such short time. I have daughters similar age to Amani. She will always be in our duas. Inshallah she is in a much better place.

I don't know Amani, I have seen the podcast by Imam Omar Suleiman with Amani. It was really a heart touching and wonderful talk on death and how to come to terms with it from a Quranic and Hadith perspective. May Allah (SWT) reward Amani for her patience in the face of pain, her thirst for understanding her situation. May Allah(SWT) have Mercy on her and forgive her and grant her the highest in Jannah, Grant her family Sabr and Mercy. Ameen

Salamualikum all i lost my husband nearly 2 years now he was having the same brain cancer like sister amani. . That's very hard for the family to fight with cancer .unfortunately in this world people are wasting money to destroy the wold such as making bomb and stuff like that . But there is not enough money to research for this life threatening diseases. So many of us losting our dearest one becuse of this cancer. May allah keep her in jannatul fardous and forgive her and all of us as well. Ameen

I went to visit my dads grave and he passed away last month, and then I saw amani's grave I also went to her's and did dua for her. Inshallah they will get jannah.
