Polygamy- which is a curse of Satan- reduces women to the level of property and livestock; when a man can have 30 goats, ten sheep and five camels and four wives, women are just another form of livestock. Polygamy was never part of God's original plan- there were one man Adam, and one woman Eve, and it was one of the curses Satan brought as part of the fall; hence its repeal by Christianity. This is an epidemic in Turkey. Part of the colonialist regime was not only to force people into deism with arguing the 'barbarity' of Islam, but using women, the legitimate complaints of women and sparking that anger out of control. Prosmiscuity does wonders for the consumerist West, and allowing it in society with no punishment even better! to de-muslimise the Muslim community, you need to show them the 'benefits' of being able to be 'independent and empowered' but in reality, this traps women into nihilism. This obsession of being 'free' has created a society of anger and pure lies.
Turkey is a modern example of how the colonialists have completely brainwashed Turkish people into apostasy by forcing liberalism, democracy and secularism. You'd be shocked, at the amount of women who speak just like these extremeist feminists. The reality is, women who abandon marriage adopt other values and those values completely go against the Qur'an and Sunnah.
Its difficult for many muslim women today to obey their husbands, because that sense of dependancy for modern women is based on finance. Extreme materialism and anxiety as Umm Khalid states, has created dispicable results.

And sadly, this all has been hardwired into men's brains too. Men now want a highly educated, financially stable woman as a wife. They want a partner who will earn with them AND possibly take care of their house too. Who brought this upon themselves? I'd say it's those jahil feminists seeping these ideas into women.
Women fear marriage, like Umm Khalid said, and this fear is ingrained in them by their parents adopting these western ideas, their peers, and the men these values give birth to. Men feel no shame in demanding their daughters and wives to earn outside their home, even drive them there daily, ask for their money, like it's the most normal thing to do. It's become an endless cycle of self-destructive generations. When women prioritize marriage over a higher degree and end up getting divorced, it reinforces this idea to their peers that no, they should be stable, lest they get screwed over like that girl. With the notion in our side of the globe that life is over for a woman after divorce, this idea is readily accepted.
I've been subtly trying to tell my parents to get me married, but they too fear what will come after marriage so are postponing my marriage after graduation.
In part, I feel that due to the secluded nature of families these days, people, especially parents have lost the ability to judge characters. Personally, I feel like this is mostly why parents end up making bad choices. On the other hand I think you can't tell how even your own son will turn out.
I took a tangent here but I'd like to know what the older sisters here think about this.

Jesus is only sent to his tribe, after mark 16 : 8 Jesus's 2nd appearance saying he's sent for the world is an admitted fabrication. isaiah 49 says Jesus will leave his tribe and return following the light of nations of isaiah 42, a new covenent, from the Arab Prophet from mt selah Medina, this is clearly Islam.
Abraham wasn't from juda, juda came like 2 centuries later, Ibrahim and Ismael were Muslims who built the Kaba, even Jacob imitates the hajj in genesis 28 of his uncle Ismael! through Ibrahim and Ismael the bible admits Islam is the true original faith and hence the Quran is its eventual correction.

    Some of the words they used were you are naïve, silly, unwise. I had to fight for 8 years to get married instead of getting a masters degree, a good job and a car so my hypothetical future husband would treat me with respect and I would have a security blanket in case marriage didn't work out, I was just a teenager.       Anyway, as Jesus himself said;
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4And where I go you know, and the way you know.”
5Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”
6Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
      The Father Revealed
7“If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”
8Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”
9Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. 11Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
      The Answered Prayer
12“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
      Jesus Promises Another Helper
15“If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever- 17the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
Indwelling of the Father and the Son
19“A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. 20At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”
22Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?”
23Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. 24He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.
      The Gift of His Peace
25“These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. 26But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. 27Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 28You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I.
29“And now I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe. 30I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me. 31But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father gave Me commandment, so I do. We’re a south asian muslim family. My grand-dad abandoned my grandma and her four children and ran off with his younger secretary. She became a single mother with limited education and no experience of being independent. Had society given importance to her education, career and independence - she wouldn’t have to (and still continue to) endure the suffering brought on to her by the selfish decisions of one man. Mind you, she raised all four of her children splendidly on her own without any “protection” of a man. If anything, she did it despite being sabotaged by men.
I think a lot of the ideologies sold on shows like sex and the city are overkill. Most women want to be mothers, most women want to have a stable significant other. We should stop worrying so much about society “programming” women, and maybe try “programming” men into following actual muslim values better.

Beautifully read and a really profound article. It just goes on to show you how far off we are as a society. I have no clue how we are gonna get ourselves from this heavy brainwashing .. it's so deep. But I guess we can start from ourselves and our family. I feel that's the most natural way and then do our best to organise ourselves among communities. That is the start

The fact Mohamed brought it back six centuries after Christianity abolished it, and his own life history, are just further evidence that he was a false prophet!

This is a great article, however we need to face the reality. Umm Khalid is a havard graduate married to a havard graduate. She knows if anything happens to her family tomorrow she can use that to get somewhere plus she is running a business. She cannot be compared to a regular house wife with no source of income nor a havard degree. As she advocate for this she should know she is selling her ideology to from a privileged place. This ideology is practical to women like her who know they have something to fall on. Divorce happens, and marriage ends and that is the reality. She should definitely wake up to reality of most women she's trying to 'advocate' for
