    Looks like the RPHA-71 and the Shoei GT-Air II are both going down the track of trying to force you into Sena comm units. That is a deal breaker for me. I wore Shoei GT-Air helmets for over a decade and changed brands after the inability to use the Cardo units which, in my experience, are much better comm units. I would have considered the RPHA-71 but with it forcing me to change comm units to Sena, it won't be happening.

    I think I prefer the design of the RPHA70 though, Don’t like that there’s no much room for a 3rd party com unit like a Cardo cause they’ve used the space with stupid inbuilt sena and not keen on the visor side lift either.

    I bought this helmet based on reviews, its double D ring strap, and because it fits my head perfectly. Had I known how noisy (especially wind noise) it is I would probably not have bought it.

    The front vent looks like a goofy smile. I don't think I could live with that.

    What a shame that I can't use my Cardo on this. Looks like I'll have to switch brands after going with HJC three times previously.

    seems people are a bit upset its fit for senna. but its loud asf i love it

    Cant understand why HJC switched from cardo to senna, integrating coms has limited sale in my opinion, maybe they could do smooth covers or adapter plates for the insert points ot have a no comms version. shame for me it looks like back to arai

    It's sounds like I'm with the majority. I'm also if the opinion that @hjchelmetseurope have right royalty dropped a ball with the Sena integration. They have now potentially alienated the 100s of potential Cardo owners, myself included. My last 3 helmets have been HJC, but it looks like my RHPA 11 will be my last while the Sena integration exists.

    Because I'm first comment you should send me one of these for free.

    Can you get the new Rpha 71 without the misery of their com system getting in the way of a Cardo unit?

    • @sportsbikeshop

      There will be people who put a Cardo on one of these, but I think it will be a pain to do so and it's not something I'd want to do. Cheers, Tony

    For the ones owning this helmet. How is the windnoise compared to other helmets ?

    How is the wind noise compared to Shoei gt air 3 and Arai Quantic?

    • @sportsbikeshop
      @sportsbikeshop  Před 4 měsíci

      It's impossible for me to say, sorry. Noise is so reliant on individual circumstances (bike, fit, speed, wind direction etc) that it wouldn't be fair to comment. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony

    Can you tell me if you have visors for this new helmet? I´m looking for some Iridium red. Thanks.

    what would you recommend hjc rpha 71 or shoei gt air3? I'm consider between those two... Maybe any comparing video those two models? ;)

    • @sportsbikeshop
      @sportsbikeshop  Před 7 měsíci +1

      In my opinion the Shoei is a better helmet than the HJC, but if the HJC is better suited to the shape of your head then I would go for that one. The quality advantage of the Shoei would soon get eaten up if the comfort isn't right. Cheers, Tony

      @@sportsbikeshopHey Tony!!
      Have you tried to fit a cardo pack talk edge on both helmets? It's time for me to get a new helmet but this silly comm slots are giving me a headache :/ I really like the specs and graphic options of the HJC, but this huge sena slot is not helping us to fit the cardo in a desired position...

    Do you think it's silent? I find it very noisy, especially on the lower part

    • @sportsbikeshop
      @sportsbikeshop  Před rokem +1

      I didn't really notice the noise at all, but I wear good earplugs at all times. Cheers, Tony

    HJC i90 would be a cheaper and better option for most riders.

    Gutted, RPHA70 much sleeker and race looking. I run a cardo system as I know a lot do....not sena. Graphics on the 71 are just as cool, pit about physical styling. Looks way bulkier.

      Both are good helmets and do a similar job. If you can try both on, go for the one that fits you best. Cheers, Tony

    Am I the only one that pronounces it Rapha rather than Arfa?

    • @sportsbikeshop
      @sportsbikeshop  Před rokem +1

      No, you're far from the only one. I checked with the importer on how to say it before making the first review video of an RPHA helmet. I was going to use the explanation of why it's 'Arfa' in that video, but I fell asleep while listening to myself say it. I'll save you that experience now 😉 Cheers, Tony

    The helmet is very heavy, so it is cheap compared to its peers. After I started using the helmet, I started to have a headache. Now I am not satisfied. It may cause neck flattening in the future. I do not recommend it to those who are considering buying it.

    Casque à éviter. Beaucoup trop bruyant. Le kit Smart HJC est inaudible et sa qualite de spn est totalement mediocre.
