This is an entrance hall of Hogwarts and Gryffindoor common room made in Unreal Engine 5 with inspiration from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets PC game. In-game demonstration.

May I say how much I appreciate what this modding community is doing nowadays. It is amazing! Revisiting our childhood games and trying to give them new life using these new game engines just makes me happy. It shows how much these games still resonate with many of us. You guys have my utmost respect and I can already imagine that one day there will be some solid, playable version of this with characters roaming around, missions to complete and perhaps even some things that were not even in the original game. Keep it up!

@@sayuricreatesstuff Think it's essential that it's not looking too clean. The stone walls looks too cold. Consider make everything a bit bigger since the player is usually a kid and now a grown up. Keep working on it like this kind of projects. Do you plan to make it open source or something?

I would love to make a full game but I think it could take a huge amount of time :)
Выглядит многообещающе, хотя фпс оставляет желать лучшего) особенно ощутимо это будет когда добавится затенение и карта будет разрастаться в размере, - не хотелось бы, чтоб это отбивало у вас желание работать над проектом дальше) К слову, оригинал тоже был создан на UEб хоть и первых версий, может это как-то поможет в переносе на 5ю в плане не только карт но и скриптов и прочего)

Да, к сожалению, у меня не такой мощный компьютер, чтобы создавать на нём игры, но я чуть-чуть пытаюсь. Плюс, оптимизацией я ещё не занималась, поэтому возможны такие лаги. В крайнем случае, поделю уровни, как это сделано в оригинале.
А вот насчёт переноса оригинальных скриптов ничего сказать не могу, поскольку ещё не занималась таким..

Жаль только, что от первого лица, а не камера за спиной игрока, поэтому я не смогу в это поиграть, т.к. мне очень некомфортно в играх от первого лица 😭😭😭 Постоянное ощущение, что чего-то не хватает, что все неправильно (((
Hey are you using Lumen? And if yes, how do you get such a clean look? I'm getting a lot of noise and ghosting with lumen
I think Lumen is automatically used in projects with UE 5.0.0 and so on.
I can't say exactly what's your problem about because there are some volumetric and partcle things in my scene.
