    Good news tho, Harley can no longer just void your warranty without proving what you did was the soul cause of the issue. Thank you Federal Trade Commission.

    I put a zippers 468 cam in my 2019 ultra. I put a air filter, oil pump etc. I didn't change the stock exhaust. To my surprise that exhaust can to life with a great sound. Great power. My experience is update your cam but see what the stock exhaust does. I was happy and saved a thousand bucks.

    Thanks for the talk. Well, I believe a re-count might find about 4-5 revisions for the HD M8 oil pumps...lol. but for me I would recommend, replace that oil pump first (pre-2020 models) Replace the OEM suspension (its horrible for anyone less than 190lbs on the Street and Road Glide models) , and vent the crankcase, all before stage 1 or beyond. At the moment, I done the above, added Cobra 909s and getting 45-50 mpg on my M8 SG.. I'm pleased at the moment likely will not set up to a set up that requires dyno tuning for proper performance.. etc..

      The oil pump on 17-19’s should be addressed by HD, instead of sending Thousands of bikes out with an ill-designed oiling system.

    Hi. Can I ask for your advice on my 2019 road king. I had to upgrade the engine to 117 stage 3 with V&S headers, KW exhaust and Fuel pack tune. The bike has annoying ticking noise (valve noise??) and numbing fine vibration that causes me to loos sensation in my feet. the biggest issue is that with the RPM less than 3 it feels and sounds like I have maxed out on the gear and need to shift ... I basically have to shift quickly to 5th gear and stay below 70 MPH to avoid the vibration and the noise. Would you happen to know what is going wrong here? Is it normal to have these issues with the upgrade? please help I don't and can't enjoy my bike anymore

    • @FixMyHogfreechannel
      @FixMyHogfreechannel  Před rokem +1

      Hello Ayman, The ticking is common.
      Especially with a more aggressive cam. You are basically hearing the valves slamming shut. And it is important that they do. Where your RPMs fall and when you should be shifting is solely determined by the cam profile. Every cam will be different. You need to try choosing a cam that best fits your riding style. The excessive vibration is either caused by the cam or possibly caused by the exhaust being up against your right side floorboard support bracket.

    I purchased my 2022 HD from the dealer with aftermarket slip ons. How can they sell bikes without Cats? My guess is they are gambling on it because the statute of limitations on tampering with an emissions system is 2 years.

    • @FriedPi-mc5yt
      @FriedPi-mc5yt Před rokem

      Catalytic converters aren’t in the slip ons. Rewatch the video. The catalytic converter is in the head pipe.
      If you remove the catalytic converter, just tell the EPA that your H-D is for off road use. 😂

    Legend suspension front and back, stage 2 SS 475 kit, Tab exhaust, dynojet powervision tuner and target tune, a 21" wheel from RC components, lepera seats, and Fat bagger inc bars.
    If you're buying the most expensive bike on the market, don't cut corners with cheap ass parts.
    It's better to buy a used bike at a cheaper price so you can afford those quality parts for your upgrades.

    Harley can get fucked, they need to realise people pay way more than they should, Harley still haven't addressed the oil blow back. They don't care it's more money for them to make the upgrade, if they get pissed off because you want to have your bike sounding and performing nice well bad luck, drop your price 10 grand on each bike then tell me what I can and can't do with my bike. Buy an Indian its way better.
