- I had never seen a motorhome being towed, until the day that I had a front-row seat. What happened to the motorhome? How did it get fixed? Is this the end of our travels? Stay tuned for answers.

Your rear over hang looks like it was inches from dragging. Hopefully won’t need a tow but the gen exhaust is good thing to remember.
We followed it and didn't see it hit. No damage.
I guess when I needed a tow I was lucky they sent a flatbed and it only took 3 hours to arrive.
They couldn't use a flatbed due to height restrictions. Had to go the long route due to length restrictions. 6 hour tow!
Please tell me you had some kind of warranty on that tranny. At least you had the Jeep for transportation. Safe "repaired" travels to you.
Hi Brian, I did have towing insurance, but the transmission bill was all mine. The Jeep saved us, as it allowed us to head back to the Oregon coast and stay out of the smoke.
That new transmission can't be cheap, how much it ended to be?
Right you are! I got a remanufactured unit and it was a little north of 8 grand. Runs cooler and shifts much smoother that the original did. Thanks for subscribing
