Washer Fluid Pump Replacement on 2nd Generation Kia Sorento (2011-2015)

This video shows the process of replacing the windshield washer pump on a 2011 Kia Sorento. This should apply to all 2nd generation Kia Sorentos which include model years 2011 to 2015 (North America).

Thank you, now I know how to do it, if I decide to do it. We had a problem with the fluid , not spraying on the windshield. Took it to Kia, well it now sprays out. Problem, it won't hold washer fluid, ever since. Been years, we just put fluid in it, wash windows, it pours out. Repeat... This morning I was reminded of the problem, when I saw fluid on the ground front passenger side. I opened the hood, and looked couldn't see where it came from. I put my hand under the drip, and caught blue fluid. That told me, washer fluid. My husband must have just filled it. So here I am, seeing this, video.

What did the problem end up being? That's what's happening to mine, a leak somewhere so it all drains out. I can't imagine the tank crakced or developed a hole, maybe a tube or the pump itself I'm thinking.

hi which goes to the back window the front or rear facing tube?

That pump only supports the front windshield wiper. One tube is input, the other is output.
