I'm glad you managed to get out of the fix you were in. However, please get a tree saver, a recovery strap, some shackles and a snach block/pully or two and watch some videos on how to recover your vehicle safely. Being alone in that type of area can be deadly. We learn from others to avoid their mistakes.
I carry a 150ft coil of steel winch cable with my Conquest 8x8. I can manually unroll it to a distant tree to use as an anchor point or I can also wrap it around some random clump of bush or grass to winch to. It is surprising how little extra you need to get your self up & out...hopefully without having a welly boot full of cold mud.
I have a old 1970 argo ,watching this makes me hate mine, the newer one look like there made so much better,as for getting stuck, that can happen to anything with tires, but ur machine looks great.
At least in an Argo, when things go wrong in water, your feet stay dry. I made a little grappling hook that I could hook to my winch. I could through it into any kind of thicket and winch myself out. Argo are so cool. Thanks for this fun video.
What, we learn is what we know ? What I learned ? Bring extra bait and maybe lunch and something to drink. That could of been worse ? But , turned out ok 👌After all, it was a pretty good 👍 video. THANKS
Hey dude! I have a DR650 and a 6x6 here in Northern Ohio. Any thoughts on a place to go short of Wayne National? I would like to hear any ideas you might have. Thanks!!
Dont own nor have I driven an Argo 6x6 but wouldnt knobbier tires help? Honestly think my brute force would stand a better chance than this surprisingly.
You are too quick to let off & too aggressive. Sometimes you just gotta let the wheels spin a bit for a while. You can also move your weight around a bit while doing it...
P.s. May wanna buy 100 ft rope to put inside Argo and when running winch, always leave motor running to save your battery 🔋if it goes down your screwed ..YELP , DID THAT ...SOMETIMES, IT CAN BE A LONG WALK 🚶♂️OUT ?.......and ,always have a backup plan ?
A day stuck in the woods is better than a day in the office....every time.
Rather be stuck in the woods than stuck in the office

This is absolutely maddeningly frustrating.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made

that is an awesome idea!!!
you are brilliant👍👍
I always feel like I would like to have a telescopic "pusher stick" thingy when I get stuck like this with my 8x8 conquest...
Sketchy recovery man

no i don't really know of any places. i might have to look into it tho would be fun to take the argo out on some different trails
Need to keep the tracks on it for that kinda terrain!
yeah the tracks are just so expensive.
Watch all ur vids big fan
Thanks dude! glad you like them(:
Looks like building a land bridge is in order.
Time for a land anchor or dead man...frozen ground is always fun to dig in.
Do you get alot of water in the tub
Nice
Whoolie booger’s
A handheld battery powered winch would have pulled it right out from the rear. Never leave home without it.
Escargo!
Just invest in a set of Argo tracks bro, I doubt you would have gotten stuck at all with a track setup
Why don't you carry a come=a=long with you? Nice to have a couple of tons metal wire to pull with.
My name is Austin Powers & i endorse this product. Lol
Miss that thing

Ohio!!!
would of been so much better with tracks
yes i want the tracks so bad but they are so expensive
этот АРГО , видимо только для пустыни годится , где нет воды и деревьев !
нет, это очень хорошо в воде. просто было так много льда и грязи.
Thats why you need tracks
This isn’t real this is cgi there is no steering wheel
hahaha
This video gave me anxiety
Guy doesn't know how to drive a. Argo .....ahah ahah
Heah...he's having a go. It takes a lot of faith to learn to chuck it "argo style" at some brush for extra traction...
li..bad ,bad driver .tle driver .
seems really under powered. thought argos were hard to get stuck. stick to my quad.
Your quad isn't going threw none!! Of that pal
Quad....LOL!
