  • Four Argo's with Adair tracks running through the nastiest mud holes and swamp areas we could find at the March 2021 River Run Mudfest in Jacksonville Texas. We went every where in the park and had no issues running in awful mud or the worst swamp areas we could find. Tracked Argo's are amphibious. Two of the machines are Argo HDI's (Sammy: Ty), One Aurora 950 SX (Dan) and one Argo Frontier ( Noel and Teresa).

Get a set of Alaska Bush tracks, they are worth the money, you'll never get stuck again

I have used Adair tracks for years on several of my machines, but the Alaska Bush track is an evolution of the Adair design. The bush tracks are wider and I believe they'll be more durable, if I ever buy another set of tracks it will be the Alaska Bush

@@dedwards8708 Thanks for the reply i defiantly will do that!! I have a 2019 frontier with 23 hp motor how much of a difference are they? I kind of like the 14.5" Adair's for the ease of them? i do not need spacers? your thoughts thanks 🙂

@@thegrantdanielsband Your Argo should have the reversible rims which give you 2 inches of extra clearance, if you have the standard transmission you should have a top end of about 22 mph. If you reverse your rims the bush tracks will go right on, because the Bush tracks have a lower belt design they will gear down your machine and reduce your top end, this also makes it almost impossible to walk out of a track (never say never-but it highly unlikely). This means your machine will go through the absolute nastiest mud holes without stressing the machine, the bearings or your chains. The machine will turn about 50% easier in any condition and will turn on a dime on pavement or concrete. That 23 horse Briggs will feel like a new machine once you get the tracks on. Do not hesitate to take that machine into holes you thought were impossible. Everything will be easy with tracks. Make sure you get the swim paddles on your machine, they will help you in every condition. Here is a Link to Buds Facebook account where you can order your tracks:

Although it looks looks like fun, it gives unrealistic expectations and very misleading to these machines and their performance. If you were out there by yourself and got stuck with no winch it could be a life or death situation that could have been easily avoided. I still liked the vid though for what they show here.

1st, I would never own an Argo without a winch, 2nd: You don't go into a swamp area without another tracked Argo, 3rd: unreal expectations? An Adair tracked Argo goes anywhere, they swim in swamp, they float in soupy mud, they stay on 🔝 of soft mud without water that will stop any 4x4, to be short they will go just about anywhere

An Adair tracked Argo always exceeds expectations
