Finally, a Lectric reviewer who actually pedals his bike!!!!
Thanks for this, I subbed on the strength of this vid. My p17 setting was locked when I tried it. Great find!!!
I turn 60 next month and for my birthday I bought this bike! My husband poo pooed me on getting it and now he's ready to buy another! YOU helped me make that decision and I thank you! We travel in our RV and being able to take this along will be a bonus!
Thanks so much!!! I needed to know this last week, but now I'll appreciate it even more after holding the throttle for too long. :)
Thank you for posting these Lectric videos! You the MAN!!
👍
Thanks Jeremiah, had no idea it had cruise! I'll be using that for sure.
No problem Phil! Glad you found it useful it’s an awesome feature!
Great video. Well done! Just got my XP and can’t wait to get out on it. Crappy weather now. Good tip on the cruise control.
Very helpful. Thank you! I would have liked to see how much current you were drawing since that is what limits your top speed.
Just got mine today (ordered in August, they’re definitely backlogged), can’t wait to figure everything out and get riding. Will definitely be checking out your vids, thanks! ✌️
Thank you that is great. I can't wait to try it out.
Tysm..I didn't know cruise existed on ebikes..works very well
Great footage awesome tip. I'm going to try this out on my next ride.
Alsome! I can’t wait to try that cruise feature!
A great video just got mine and didn’t know about the cruise lockin
Great videos ! Definitely valuable info! Helped me decide to get the Xp over some of the a lil more expensive choices . Just got mine yesterday! First thing i did was unlock to 28 mph, but i was most surprised that while giving full throttle and just slightly pedaling with no resistance ,just a leisurely cadence the bike was going 26 to 28 mph !! All the videos i saw everyone was huffing and puffing to get it up to 28 ,not mine , maybe i got a special one , either way ,i like it. Can’t wait til tommorrow to try cruise. I saw this video a couple weeks ago but could not remember how to cruise control ,glad to subscibe and fine your videos ,thanks !
Thank you!
Yes you do not really need to put effort into the pedals to get up to 28 you just have to make sure they are turning. I’m usually out of breath because I’d like to get the exercise LOL
this has to be the most informative site for the lectric xp. thanks Jeremiah.
Thank you Randy! I’m glad you found my videos helpful and thats what makes me keep making them!
I am anxiously awaiting my xp, this will help me a lot since I have a 5 mile ride to work every day. This will save my hand a lot lol
Awesome footage, Jeremiah; your videos always rock!!!
Thank you Ray!
Thank you for sharing, your lectric bike reviews are awesome, keep up the good work. 👌🙏🎯
Thank you I appreciate the feedback! That’s what keeps me creating!
@@JeremiahMcintoshfantastic I'm expecting my lectric bike today or tomorrow, perfect timing to learn of this cruise control, which I will def be using often, I'll be making a review of my own and will be definitely mentioning your channel and everything I've learned from your experience, again thanks brother 🙏
Thank you so much that would be awesome you’re gonna love it!
Thanks for the heads up regarding the cruise control feature.
No problem the cruise control is an awesome feature to have especially if you’re like me and trying to record certain videos with your right hand On the camera and your left hand on the handlebars LOL.
Great video! I had heard about the cruise feature, but didn't know how to activate it. It appears that it is more of a fixed throttle position rather than actual cruise as we think of it in a car. It would probably depend on the charge of the battery too as to how well it holds the speed on an incline. Thanks again!
Great information and well explained and presented.
Thank you so much I appreciate that!
i always watch and enjoy every videos you post - very educational and entertaining as well
Thank you very much! I appreciate that!
I love this! Awesome bike and concept. Back up and alternative transportation with a turbo fun factor.
Agreed! Definitely a fun bike!
thanks for the video, just subscribed. I order a bike yesterday Jan 2
Nice👍 I’m sure you’re going to love it!
Awesome, I can't wait to get mine, I ordered last week!
Did you have to preorder
Very helpful
I just bought an RKS fat tire similour to your XP
Low slung, fat tires & e.controled with a hub motor
Awesome!
I think that you were the first person anywhere to reveal that this bike has cruise control. I had been thinking about it like why would they not put cruise control on this bike or on any evike but no one talks about it? Thank you for the video. I am expecting my bike in the next week.
Thank you so much for this!
Good job on your videos. Good info, demos. Thanks for what you do.
Thank you. I appreciate that!
The cruise control feature is handy, thank you for the demonstration.
You’re welcome 👍 glad you enjoyed it.
Wow! I just wrote U about this. I must have missed this video. But I'm glad I came across it. Thanks dude fire all U do. Well done.
Thank you my pleasure!
thank you so much for this information !!!! helped me with my bike!!! sub'd!!
No problem I’m glad you found it helpful! Thanks!
Very good informative video - enjoyed watching...
Just got 1 and cant wait to check it out - Thanks for the info
You’re welcome
Nice shots of the bike. Good review
Thank you. Check out the comparison with the step through a lot of nice shots in that as well.
Great info and video as I am awaiting the shipment of my XP in white!
No problem Karl! Your gonna love it!
Just received my lectric xp bike can’t wait to ride tomorrow 🚲
Your going to love it! I suggest you clean the brake rotors with rubbing alcohol before riding and brakes will probably need adjusting.
debbie10stars how do you like your bike? I am trying to order one soon, but I am still gathering some information that can help me. I was trying to buy TREAK bike but they are requiring ppl to make an appointment which is ridiculous even thought they don’t have any customer in their store.
I still love the bike and it has been a great bike so far!
MAN LIKE CRUISEIN THAT'S STRAIGHT THANKS JEREMIAH!!!!
Thanks for your informative Video
Im getting ready to buy a lectric xp so thanks for the information , great video 👍.
Thank you. You’re welcome!
You've motivated me man I'm buying one
Awesome! Your going to love it. Sucks you have to wait till April and get it tho!
Bought a Shengmilo MX-01 with the same computer and the instructions are useless because of the Chinese to English translation. Your video has helped enormously because I could not work out how to use the Cruise. So Thank you.
These bikes are awsome just got mine omg liberating feel like a kid again
Glad you like it! Enjoy!
Thanks for the info!🙏
Great video, thanks.
Awesome tip. Liked and subscribed.
-Thanks
Thank you! I really appreciate that!
Very helpful. Thank you
No problem I’m glad you found it helpful!
Pretty cool. Just got an XP in February
Cruise was not in rhe manual. Great bike
Awesome wait till you see my next Lectric video on a cruise control feature that lets you go slower than Pas1 but still pedal! It is an awesome feature I figured out this weekend while I was out on the bike trail with my family.
Just got mine to thanks great find I am going to have more fun now cuz of u thanks :D
I had no idea it had cruise control. THANKS👍😎
No problem check out my playlist. There may be some other things you learn? czcams.com/play/PL_IKMv6nDehbb-eKdHAUeucu9gCJ8XsXq.html
Another great video idea. I have two suggestions for Lectric videos. 1} Show how to climb stairs with the Lectric in walk mode, and 2) show how to turn your Lectric upside down without damage and place it on a bench so you can pull the wheels off, or do other work on it. Thanks for doing all the other Lectric videos by the way. I have watched them all. I recently bought an action camera, and I am trying to learn how to use it so I, too can post some Lectric videos!
Thanks Scoop. I actually show how to flip the bike over and work on it in my freewheel replacement tutorial.
Thats pretty kool gotta try it later lovin the lectric so far almost got 200 miles in it
Awesome! I only have about 50 miles on mine. Roughly how many miles are you averaging per charge? I’ve been averaging around 20 miles per Charge on mine.
Nice job! Thank you.
You’re welcome!
I am pretty sure I found this by accident!! 😄 J K
There is a glitch when you stop peddling the bike accelerates for a few seconds unless brake is pulled
Usually when I turn around to look for traffic.
Still the most fun I've had in years
Love XP look forward to step thru!!
Awesome demonstration
Thank you!
Thanks, I subscribed, I have three of them don't like to ride alone. love my bikes
That’s awesome!! I might buy another in the spring depending on what model comes out next! Happy Riding!
Thanks for the info! Cruise control is a great feature, and I wish my RadMini 4 had that. I usually just go full throttle mile after mile, but if I had cruise control, it would be nice to pick my speed and let it roll.
I agree it is a great feature.
See if you can find out some more settings that we don't know about voltage and otherwise I'm not sure about voltage but something that we didn't notice on the controller there has to be a way to change more settings on a controller that were locked
Great video tip; I can really use this as I'd like to keep the cruise speed between the 8mph I get with PAS 1 and 12mph at PAS2 when riding with friends who don't have electric bikes. One more thing: have you noticed that your odometer isn't accurate? My XP arrived in late September and I've put 100 miles on it - but the odometer reads only 75, I checked it out on a measured mile and with the Speedometer Plus app on my iPhone - both recorded the same results. Disappointing. Lectric used to have a P06 setting that would let the owner adjust the odometer, but as of September or so, they've locked out that setting so that it cannot be changed. If this bothers you, WRITE TO LECTRIC and complain! Rick in Las Cruces NM
Ya, very cool thanks!
No problem!
I am hopefully ordering my XP 2.0 Black Step-Thru Lectric E Bike very soon, although I live in Michigan, and I am afraid it will not be delivered before Winter Snow Arrive, Then I will need Ski's instead of a front tire.
Nice bro thx
I got mine a week ago and I've put 64 miles on it. It does great in snow too.
Hi, how long did it take to ship cuz I bought one (the XP), and says it will ship within 3-5 business days but still hasn't shipped after the 5th business day.
thank you will help me decide
I think anyone interested in theses bikes would rather hear the motor and drive train than music. Thanks for your work!
Thank you!
I would have like to know what gears you were in going 5 mph... 😊
As if I needed another reason to get one of these awesome e-bikes ! I’ve reviewed at least 6 “competitors” to the Lectric and still think it is the best value.
I agree Bill! I’ve done the same thing researched every competitor every review and watched every video before I purchase mine and came to the same conclusion as you. In my opinion it’s the best value for the money!
Up to 156 miles on mine today. Got it 33 days ago. Added a white milk crate, personalized license plate from a tourist store and a mud flap with the shiny hot girl and it's a hoot to ride. 😆
Sounds awesome! 👍
Excellent. 🙂
In other words, the cruise control is actually a throttle position hold. BTW awesome footage and THANK YOU for not putting music!
Yes pretty much. Your welcome
I’m a 67 year old female. Just ordered my Lectric Step Thru. Carpe Diem!
Jeremiah, I was not aware of the Cruise Control feature. Thank you. I have ordered two new xp 2.0 bikes. I hope that feature is still included.
Awesome your going to love them!
I'm curious what spoke tension meter people are using for this rear wheel..??? Anything with a large meter attached (VXM) will not work...
Was looking at so many ebikes. I liked the looks of the sleek and sexy Aventon but you must peddle before using the throttle from a dead stop! All the others had at least one thing I was concerned about which leads me back to the XP. Anyone have thoughts on the Wallke X3? 26" wheels/foldable
Do you know if lectric Is going to come out with a suspension front in to fit the older bikes. Would be a huge help just to be able to order the front and and everything is needed to do the job.

I have an Ecotric fat tire bike myself, but it looks like you are having fun tearing up the roads and having fun. :)
how fast does your ecotric bike go just throttle only and how fast is it with the highest pedal assist mode? Im thinking of getting one myself :)
Oh yeah I’m having so much fun it’s amazing how much I want to get out and ride this thing! Getting a lot of exercise that I would otherwise not get. I looked into the ecotric but for the little more money I spent I thought it was a better deal for me being in already had a rear rack, speedometer and 48v lg battery versus a 36V battery.
Also I got three paneer bags with it!
One other thing I like about this one is that the battery is hidden.
How long have you had the ecotric how are you liking it?
How many miles have you been averaging per charge?
I would love to have one of these bikes to do some comparison videos with mine.
@@JeremiahMcintosh The Ecotric has all that and more, it's a big bike (26", but it is really 28" when measured), now don't let 36v, 12ah scare ya, When I bought mine it was 858.50, but the price went up for Christmas to about 949. As for speed, there is a trick that can be done in the settings to change it from the factory limit of 20mph to 26mph. Also, I had to install my own rack and panniers, I tricked it out with two headlights and tail light system, FM radio, Garmin GPS (yes, it has a connector for that on the display), and fenders. I did this on the cheap and looks like a 1400 bike. A 48v, 13ah battery will use up the same amount of energy as a 36v, and the only difference is 2 extra miles but the price is much greater. As for riding, I have 0 miles on mine. I built it and then packed it away for a later time when I need it next spring.
Keep in mind, Ecotric is a Chinese knockoff of the Radrover without the bells and whistles that Radrover has for 1500. I'm not saying buy a Ecotric, you may not like it, it's a very big bike and it's not foldable. Lectric bike seems to be a very good choice. I do like it. Ecotric was my choice for price, watts, miles, and all around durability and size after doing much homework. Also, I bought mine on Ebay and many of the accessories that I installed. Total cost with tax was about 1150 with all the goodies and that's a custom build, not some shabby backyard jobber. On CZcams, you can see many different ways others customize. Many ideas out there.
This is cool...thanks :)
Has anyone trsted this on xp 2.0? It has + and - buttons than arrows.
I have a bike with an LCD 8H display and the cruise control works by holding the down button while in pedal assist or throttling. The cruise control will disengage if I pedal for more than 5 seconds.
However, mine maintains speed by varying power output. It appears as if the computer on the lectric display maintains power output and just let's speed vary based on incline or wind.
Dows anyone know if the Xpremium maintains the same cruise control function?
I tried it today going out to my deer stand and it works good on my bike (even pulling my trailer full of gear) . I'm order 4525 so I'd assume everything up to that number should have this functionality.
Nice!👍 what kind of trailer are you using! It should work on all bikes up to now. Hopefully Lectric doesn’t lock down this feature like they did some of the others!
Can you put in a link for your GoPro holder (Clamp) Thx
that's awesome
Nice.... Just Subscribed.....
how do you make it differenciate from walk mode and cruise mode?
I haven been looking to buy a folding fat tire Ebike ! I like this model and it’s a very reason price for what you get !
I agree! It’s the best bang for the buck!
Great Video. What are your settings to remove the speed limit?
You have to change P08 from 32 to 45 or 100 on new models
Thank you for the immediate reply. All the best.
Does anyone know had to make it pull of quicker and more powerful when using the throttle to get going, thanks
Good review. Do you think Lectric will lock out the cruise control. I thought after they talked to their attorney 🤬 they might. Beautiful countryside. What part of the country do you live in. I Like your occasional helper. Good little guy.
Why would they lock it out?
As a senior citizen (70) my goal is Hopefully Excercise with the PAS modes
May I suggest you install 4" wide x 26/29" liners in both tires as the tires are about as thick a condom or balloon. Been there, been flat w/a 1/8" thorn.!!! I also added Slime..
You'll just LOVE trying to remove the rear wheel from the frame and then reinstalling. I made a spreader from closet pole to install between the spokes and tap into place between the frame members, to relieve the tension on the rear wheel, then tap the pole free to remove the wheel..!! LOL! Also, be ready to realign the Derailleur. I installed a closet pole in the base of a weighted patio umbrella and then put the bike on top of the pole, into the bottom of the seat pipe.!! Works like a charm, allows me to hand pedal and make adjustments..
Thank you those are some great suggestions! I’m going to have to try the bike stand idea!
Thanks for your comments. I thought about adding the tire liners when I get my bike. I wasn’t sure if anyone even sold tire liners for 4 inch tires. Thank you for the tip on what to expect during the process. Maybe Jeremiah could make a CZcams video on this topic.
@@sierradk Amazon....... In addition, the paper-thin tires are a hoot to remove.. LOL! While you don't need to remove the tire from the wheel to install the liner, you will need to remove the tire from the wheel to line the rim at the spoke nuts.. I used gaffer's tape...
@@JeremiahMcintosh Won't work for the new step through..
If I have a normal Electric cycle and I want to add a cruise control system in it. How can I do it?
What phone mount is that under the display? Thanks for the review!
All the links for everything including the phone mount are in my accessories video here.

Cool!
Great video, going to try it on my MX02 later. Do you get many punctures with fat tyres?
I haven’t had any yet!
Do you know how to set yours for it to pull off quicker and with more power when using throttle mate, just had one , first ride today just thought it would have a bit more poke pulling off, is it possible to change any settings mate, thanks
thanks thats useful
You are welcome!
Great videos man! Hey I can’t make up my mind. With the XP and step thru. If height is not an issue. Which one would to recommend? Step thru looks comfy but XP looks cooler haha
They are both great bikes so if height is no issue the go with whatever one you like better.
@@JeremiahMcintosh typo, meant to say XP looks cooler* thanks for the quick response! I enjoy all your videos! Thanks man 👍🏼 even longer rides both step thru isn’t more comfy? I’m assume sitting position and arms/hands to handlebar pretty much the same? Step thru is just easier to get on obviously.
Hi, I ask you for advice, I changed the parameters from the display, let it automatically return to the HOME screen, then I turned off the display and removed the key from the battery. If I turn it back on after a few minutes it keeps the saved parameters for me, on the other hand, if I let more time pass, the default parameters return to me. Am I wrong something?Do you think the display or the control unit is faulty? The km / mile, on the other hand, always keeps me saved. Thanks
Hmm that’s weird. The settings should stay until you change them again. They should not go back to default.
I have a 20 inch folding eBike with the same M5 controller I wonder if this will work.
It’s hard to say. It all depends how it was programmed from the factory.
Hey, thanks for the review. I got the engwe ep2 this week and I want to know how to change the speed límiter of each pas level... Because for example I want to use level 2 + plus pedaling but it doesnt get faster than 20km/h. I dont know if im explaning myself. Thanks
I’m not sure if you can change the speed if each pas level. You cannot on the Lectric.
1 month away lol I have too much anxiety
Also that's dope cruise is a nice touch this bike has it all man fuckin best 900 dollar ebike even comparable to those 1600 dollar bikes
