I badly want a GTI-6 especially after seeing this. That close-ratio gearbox makes my heart race.
When I was shooting this video, this car was still on road legal licence plates. But now, it came too far, so it is no longer road legal :)

a few years back (i think it was around 2018 or something) i had the same car, i was 20 years old and got that car for 400€ from an app called kleinanzeigen
put a little bit of work in it, i had to swap the rear axle, the windscreen, the suspension, exhaust and some other things too to get it on the road again, in germany we call it tüv
the pre owner had painted it with black wall paint and a paint roller, the original car was red. the paint was a black with red freckles because the paint chipped away, it just was a clapped out shitbox :D i then collected the signatures of all my friends on that already fcked paint and drove that car until a spark plug went straight up into the ingnition coil and through the hood. tried fixing the spark plug thread but didn't get it back to running smooth. sold it for 30€ because it was clapped out at the max.
all i know today the engine got reused in a 306 rally wagon
was a great car, small clapped out but really fast for its age, the perfect car for when you're young :)

what gear lever do you use? I have a 206rc with gearbox of 306gti6 12x68, and I want to adapt a lever like that :)) precious sound of that 306!

KRTKOD looks like a satchshift. Very nice piece of kit, however it is a mechanical/rod type, where the 206 as i recall uses cables? The satchshift requires an additional hole in the firewall for one of the linkages.
