There's nothing like old school motovlogs people like Chase on two wheels. They make good videos but it's not the same as just putting a camera on your helmet and going for a ride I remember when snow cat used to upload a three times a week every week

I'm not that old, only 22, but I'm glad I grew up watching guys like you, Bxd, Arson, Sub D., DIWD, YummiR6, etc. I see so many new motovloggers that just don't focus on actual riding and just try to post some shitty content with horrible riding techniques. There's a lot of cringey stuff out there. I agree with everything you said about it. Been following on IG for years but good to see something from you on YT again. 👍

Nice to see your back 😉 It sucks when you have injuries that keeps you off the bike. A couple years ago I had a issue with a dental crown that required a implant to fix, couldn't even think of putting on a helmet since the liner pressed on the gum 😪 it was almost healed up and they found a problem with another tooth that needed an implant so my riding that year consisted of 1 ride to the gas station to fill it up the tanks for winter 😭

I watched all your stuff back when I first started riding and now I'm almost a decade in. My girl is even getting into it and will be getting her first bike soon. Whenever you do post I'll be checking it out. I'm happy you're finding the right balance for your life too. About clutchless shifting. When you know how to do it, it’s so much easier. Shift up and down with my old M109R without using the clutch. My new DDX has up and down quickshift. Took me a while to get used to it. I was confusing the computer by my old habits.
Regarding the latest Gopros, I think people are just complaining to impress people. I've had the 4, 6, etc up to the current model. The improvements over the 4 are huge. As ever, it's not perfect, but it's still awesome.

You spoke my mind about the new Instagram and TikTok bikers. The zoomers are just pure cringe and ruining the culture with their hoodie and sweatpants squids image. Romanticizing death or using that as an excuse to not wear gear is also unbearable. In most crashes, you won't even die, you'll just have your skin scraped up when you slide which would be completely preventable with proper gear.
Audio discussion tho. Does the mic on the osmo directly peak constantly? Or does it peak because that's the only usable gain setting where one would hear the bike and your voice at the same time? I don't own an osmo so I have no clue. But I'm thinking about getting one to the plug a mic into it
