When setting the time manually, do you push in the crown to zero out the seconds? Does it start/set the time always with the seconds at the 12 o'clock position?
Jan Thanks Jan, in manually setting the time, you pull the crown out at the zero like most analog watches and then push it in to start. If you pulled it out at the 15, it would start at the 15.

Hi Doug, I just bought the same casio, but with the blue tints on the button. Same watch but has the indices lumed which makes it super legible ! looking forward to tour 2020 reviews, cheers

Hey Doug , I have recently purchased this watch and was wondering if you could help me out with an info . I have trouble to set the watch to atomic time signal receiving . With pressing the receiving button on my watch first it shoves me if the last time calibration was successful or not , and a long press will turn on the Bluetooth settings -to connect with my phone ,but not the receiving (RC) . The second indicator never goes to the RC indication on my watch .(the battery is full, and i'm in time keeping mode , etc .) . Do you know maybe what i'm doing wrong ? Thank's for your answer !
This watch will only connect to atomic time Towers when it is NOT paired to a phone. if paired to your phone it will only receive times signals from your phone. Unpair it and then it’ll go to RC and receive atomic time signals
Hi just bought the same watch. I am curious about the red paint in the second needle of the watch. Is it not really smooth the texture? It has kind a rough texture when you light it. Do your watch also like that?
Sorry for the delay, Casio is pretty good with consistency in manufacturing, unfortunately I did send it back to Topper after the review. Did you find your answer?
@@DougFNJ unfortunately all of these model has those texture in the second mark. I think it is just they want to make that kind of model. I had checked the new watch of this gwr-b1000x-1a in the store also the same. So it is not an issue. It is just they make it like that. But for me it is not really good to be seen in macro.

I wamt to tell you, I ordered a G-Shock Gravity Master GWRB1000-1A1 from Topperl your discount code worked, saved $120.00, spoke with Rob (I think that was his name, asked him about similar models and he said, you will be fine. I've never owned a higher end g shock, the model you shown is sold out found one on Ebay used. Yes there are some places a few bucks cheaper, but Topper is an AD and warrantied. Still Japanese made. I doubt there is much more use I would get at spend more, nor do I meed a mud master. Thank you for the referral. I'm OK with ordering automatic watches but you can go nuts going over what Casio has to offer, and did not want LCD's. I hope you get some credit. Liked your video watched it over a few times to get an idea. As was told this was the base model of G-Shocks higher end. Wanted to keep it under $600-700 and was able. What was good the sale staff spent time with me, and this was after the sale, and even noticed my order when I called. The majority of my watches are automatics, an Omega Seamaster, Longines Big Eye, a few Stowa's (which I love) a Zelos, Boldr and a flash sale on a Deep Blue. Usually use Long Island Watch, buy most of my Orients from them and a few others. Long Island didn't sell that watch, though I could have called Marc and he would have got it for me, a what cost don't know. But did buy some Orient Mako II USA's when he had them on sale, and all but one are for gifts to people who helped me this year and one for my daughter to giver her BF for X-MAS. Do you have to pull the crown out and leave it in the sunlight for it to charge? Mines been on half battery for few months

Hai sir, just wanna ask, all g shock with Bluetooth connection, got feature to find our phone??? Or just certain g shock??
So far the Bluetooth watches with the connected app that I have reviewed have the feature. You could download the connected apps to your phone, each version has a demo for each watch along with instructions, so if you are interested in a particular version, the demo is like a walkthrough as if you were using it on a watch.

Hi Mila, thanks for watching and taking time to comment. There is a feature that uses the phones GPS for memory points for flight logs, but no GPS or directions.
Does it have a compass feature?
This one does not
I think I'd rather have the regular version with the fully lumed indicies.
This was a special edition, both are great.

Hi Sidharta, thank you for watching. That is definitely subjective. I like these new Bluetooth watches Casio has been putting out. They are getting it right, these are great for someone that doesn't want a smartwatch, but does like some of the features.
How to change the day?
Day could be changed when setting the date, or synching with the connected app.
DougFNJ just got mine last month. Nice watch, feels like u wearing nothing on your hands, just like GW-S5600B lol
Which one better this or frogman ?
Very subjective. I always like to have a Frogman n my collection, but this one is great!

I don't typically get into pricing because the final price is different everywhere. Drop a note to Topper, they will take care of you.
What's the difference between 1A1jf, 1A and 1A1?
The last numerals typically refer to the color variations.
Also, answering your solar question, yes, I go over the charging times in the video.

great watch, but like most of them...if you are older, tough to read day ,date, font too small.
Mine are getting on that older side.....progessives have helped me lol
