RØDE debuted its Interview PRO wireless mic and two mobile video rigs. The Interview PRO is a handheld wireless microphone for field interviews in bustling environments. Aside from its classic design the Interview PRO also comes with a built-in 32-bit float recorder. This option allows for hassle-free recording, with zero regard for distortion or noise floor issues. The mic is part of the RØDE GO ecosystem and will work with its receivers. The Mobile Cage and Magnetic Mount will elevate your smartphone videography while maintaining phone accessibility in clever ways.

Thank you so much, RODE. I have been waiting for this interview pro mic for the past 8 years, and finally, you people have done it. Thank you so much. I just ordered mine.

It’s such a shame that they didn’t build this to the same interchangeable capsule standard as is expected for stick mics. I don’t want to use your budget capsule Rode, I want to throw an Earthworks on it like I don’t use Rode lavs with the Wireless Pro. The biggest way to upgrade a wireless kit is upgrade the mics into a mid tier (~$500 mics)

This is a great start to build out the Rode Wireless eco system. I noticed the mic kept the tone even when moving back and forth. As some have said below it would be great to have a Rode option that allows other SLR mics to be used.

I just comparer this audio to the audio from your other NAB coverage videos that were recorded with your standard mic, and this one if far inferior. Som much less background noise isolation and the sound is to bassy compared to the mic you normally use.
Good ideia, but not well implemented. And as also has been said, I much rather prefer a interchangeable capsule to use with whatever mic I choose.

Horses for courses. The solution we normally use is a lot more expensive and higher-end, but does not offer 32-bit internal recording. I think the RØDE sounds great considering the price, and the 32-bit float would allow you to tweak the audio so it sounds more like what you want - we didn't treat it and used the in-camera transmission for this edit.

Not a great demonstration of the mic to conduct an interview with the new product and the audio is clipping! haha
