He has been greatly disrespected by the ufc though after koing p4p no.1 and beating him he is still not promoted by the ufc you can see danas face when he wrapped the belt around leon. He wasnt too happy about it.

this is literally the biggest and best trilogy beef aside from conman mcgregor and Dustin Poirier. Some of the best welterweight talents and fighters in history and one even formerly being the p4p number 1 fighter in the world then one getting the best knockout of the decade and possibly history. That was a true great knockout. Leon had the best corner advice ever. The real life rocky in the UFC and UFC history

Whenever I see a fighter that reaches the top, no matter how or for how long, and they stay relatively quiet, respectful and humble...i become an instant fan of that fighter. Not that anyone cares who Im a fan of lmao 😂
I know it won't get mentioned at all that much but that third fight, Leon had one of the greatest performances ever. Dominated one of the greatest fighters ever, 2nd greatest in the division's history, as an underdog. Had arguably the greatest performance when it comes to kicks. From what we saw him in the 2nd fight, nobody was expecting this. Usman had just dominated Leon for 3 and a half rounds straight since round 1. While the execution was great, it was a fluke win because it came from a miracle knockout. Everybody thought Usman would do the same thing and not get knocked out this time. Leon made him look pedestrain. Fought like an experienced chance giving Usman nearly nothing. Going into this fight, most people thought Usman cleared the division apart from the 2 guys that were coming up with Khamzat and Shavkat. Apart from that, he had beaten everybody and Leon just took the belt with a kick and outclassed him in the next fight.
Dominated? Some people think Usman could've won or should've been a draw.
@@Eyeofthetiger69 you’re delusional if you think that. Usman won one round at best. Two of the judges had Leon lose one round. Ben Cartlidge gave Usman only the 4th round, Chris Lee gave Usman only the 3rd round. I don’t know what David Lethaby was on giving Usman the 2nd round. He also gave Usman the 3rd round which is fair but you could literally argue that Leon lost the 3rd round and he deserved that point deduction due to the cage grab but that’s all. In no world was that going to be a tie or win for Usman.
