BigBad Bryant just my opinion midnight marauders is the shit I have all of tribes albums. Man I have that issue with my damn self which is better between the two. My mind says m.m but my heart goes to l.e.t. I feel people say including myself because it was a change from the first album. The first album was dope def a classic. That low end theory though when the bass from the first track comes in it damn near fakes you out you think oh this sounds like the first album ok then the beat drops boooom. It was a harder album sonically and lyrically. Midnite is the shit though.

One Track that REALLY Grew on me... is 'Black Spasmodic'.
I was too busy replaying 'The Space Program' / 'Ego' / 'Whateva Will Be' / 'Kids' and 'We The People'... that I started going back towards the middle of the album, and each track i started liking more and more. ESPECIALLY 'Black Spasmodic'.
LISTEN to those Drums and Bass!! THEN... when Phife Dawg comes and not only KILLS it.. but the beat gets chopped/looped and it is just MAGNETIC. My head just starts banging!!! When PHIFE starts with "Now WHO want it with the Trini Gladiatior!? Mid-Finger to you haters, you biters not innovators"...OMG.

this is genuinely the greatest album i’ve ever heard. this should be an 11.
the only thing that i would say as even a shrivel of criticism: i wish they got yasiin bey dropping a “thieves in the night” level verse on the killing season, as well as q-tip dropping a verse. that would’ve likely been the greatest song of all time. if they somehow got a phife verse to put on here, that would’ve elevated it even more.
and conrad tokyo, which is my favorite song of all time, imagine if tip dropped a verse, like a segway before the euphoric instrumental section (which is the greatest piece of music of all time).
