Based on todays rules the following would happen:- Everton's first penalty, Lovell would be sent off for handball. Everton's second penalty, the player would be sent off as that should've been his 2nd yellow card but he didn't get booked for it. Palace's disallowed goal for offside would now stand because both players were not in the goalkeepers line of sight. Both penalties would be retaken because players encrouched the area AND the keeper moved off his line both times! On all occasions VAR would have the final say. How the game has moved on, for the worse.

Why did palace sell off part of the terrace to the right of the goal. Did they really want to lose their capacity.
Bolton did a similar thing with half the open terrace at Burnden park.
