Things I missed:
RWR (Radar Warning Reciever) screen shows all Radar AA threats on the battlefield. Marked on screen as a diamond with an "A" in it.
Flare modes, I use CM burst when flying over an AO with active AA, up to you what mode you use but I recommend CM burst.
