exactly what i was looking for! After checking out the ALIVE modules for the first time i thought i would never learn to use it.

yeah was gonna say, 3den enhanced adds a bunch of stuff, basically a must have for editing. Although be warned some of it's features don't work too well in MP.
Hey, so I follow your instructions to the tee but alive keep spawning in the defaults faction like for opforce I want SFIA but it’s giving me ctat instead
@@ghostpb9446 A few things:
1) make sure logistics module(if you have it) is limited to faction, if it has "side and faction" it'll spawn CSAT
2) double check that all of the faction classnames on objectives, commander, CQB, etc, is the exact classname for what you want. If it's off it will likely default to CSAT.
3) Make sure the faction you want to use is compatible with ALiVE, if it is not it won't work obviously. I believe SFIA is compatible since I've used it before, so not sure if this could be an issue.
4) Make sure the file name for the mission you are using is NOT the same as a previous save. If a mission has the same name, ALiVE will load the latest save for that filename, meaning that it will load previous units that shouldn't be there.
5) double check everything is synced up properly, I know this can cause issues. Also, try to find out what type of units are spawning. For example, if they are full squads then you know it's an issue with the objectives modules, if it's pairs of units in buildings, it's an issue with the CQB module.
If none of these work I'm not sure what else.
I have yet to receive an answer on how to change the compositions that spawn (HQs, roadblocks, etc) and was wondering if you knew how to overwrite them.
Afraid I'm not too sure, as I don't usually use Alive composition other than the basic ones. I assume that there is some kind of classname system for compositions, but I'm not too sure how you would find them. Perhaps config viewer?
@@95percentrookie what was the name of the mod you showed at the bottom of the "General Settings" tab you opened at 1:58 the mission title and all that stuff you said that shows up at the bottom of your mission or Op when you load into the server ?. You have to go into the actual files of the PBO to change it to items you want for example -- Classname_ (insert random building name) is the default, you switch it to something you want but doing so can affect the stability of the mod so just be aware of that
Can I play this as single player??
Yup, same instructions. Although, you should host it in a LAN multiplayer game to enable respawns.
