Having fun playing Mary Chapin Carpenters song "I take my chances"!✨😉 A country song written by the American singer- songwriter Carpenter and Don Schlitz, realeased in 1994. I can understand how successful Mary became. She wrote many good songs!
I agree with what Ray Charles once said; these country lyrics are compelling, often like a story. It´s down to earth and portraits real people and what´s in their minds. It´s a refreshing honesty in it I believe. Love it!
