I did not get a chance to present what Mandi and I discussed, especially after she cut me off at question one before I could even say anything.😢 I even had a scholarship and a grant. What may have happened? I'm so heartbroken.
Hi Juddy, I'm so sorry to hear about the visa denial. It sounds like you had bad luck, and this officer was grumpy. It doesn't seem like this visa denial was about you. I would highly recommend you interview again, and still use the same techniques we practiced. There is always an element of luck in this process-- some officers we worked with had a tendency to just deny everyone, others were much more patient and willing to listen. Don't give up! Won't it also look terrible going for a third time( after 2 refusals, first one was 2 years ago)? Now that I have attained a Master degree (which is a prerequisite to the course I was going for), should I just try get a PHD admission ( I realized I qualify for the same course at PHD level) before going back to the embassy?
