This will depend on your situation. Sometimes an interview can be very short with only a few questions, but sometimes the interview is longer.

I am from India. I had applied twice, once for conference purpose and second time on invitation. But both time I denied on the ground of being unmarried. Actually till day I didn't get married. I want to apply for master course in USA. How to face interviewer? Please help me out. Also, in future I don't have any plan to get married.

Does US embassy reschedule the visa appointments if they cancel the visa appointment by themself for any unavoidable circumstances?
No they don't reschedule by themselves. It happened to me back in 2021 due to Covid-19 lockdown situation in my home country. The appointments for July were all canceled. However incase your appointment was canceled by Embassy, you can do one of two things:-
1. Schedule a new date, then apply for expedited appointment incase it is emergency e.g. student visa. If that fails, then do Step 2 below.
2. Write to the Consular Section and explain that you are in need of an emergency appointment because your schedule was canceled due to circumstances beyond your control.
They will reply you like in my case, and gave me a new appointment by themselves.
@@franciskisembo6450 Actually they do reschedule your appointments themselves. All applicants who were scheduled on July 24 got cancelled because of the typhoon in our country. They emailed us hours later the dates where we can return to the embassy without scheduling on the website again.
@@miley0123 That's good. Mine was different, I had to write to the embassy first and that is when they got me a new date.
This will depend on the circumstances. In many occasions, appointments are rescheduled, so watch for an email from the embassy or the scheduling service. You should also check the embassy’s website frequently for any updates

Hi, I am a Bangladeshi PhD student living in US. I started my study from Fall 2022. At that time I was married but I didn't take my wife with me in US since we were in separation for long days. Later I got divorced in September 2023. This year in June, 2024, I went to my country for summer vacation and I got married again. Now I want to apply for my present wife for F2 dependent visa but I am worried that whether she will be asked about any info about my previous wife. Although I have my divorce documents as well as new marriage certificates as proof. Is there any way so that I can inform my updated marital status to US consulate office in Bnagladesh eariler.
