Happy New Year from California!! I spent Christmas sick with the flu. I was by myself this year , dog sitting my grand dogs, and my own fur babies. It was quiet, but relaxing. I read a Truman Capote Christmas story, very good read, watched wonderful vintage Christmas movies, and tried to feel better. I loved the parade you videoed, the choir, and ofcourse, Jack. Talking money-saving (for next year now, obviously)..... I pay for everything - groceries, bills, petrol, insurance premiums etc - on my credit card that gives me 'points' for every pound spent then on 1 December I reclaim the points for vouchers from WH Smith, M&S, Amazon etc. This year I accrued £160-worth of vouchers so I put a £10 voucher into Christmas cards and hey presto, that's Christmas prezzies paid for!!! Happy New Year and my heartfelt thanks for keeping my spirits up in a year that has seen me crumble. x

Happy 2024!!! My 2 sisters and I went to Japanese buffet for the 25th and I worked the 31st but went to visit my sister afterwards for a couple of hours and left early to feed my community cats before the fireworks. Today I stayed home alone and chilled with my cats. I noticed your white teeth within seconds and have been working on mine. My sister got the box from her dentist and she has beautiful white teeth now and if my drugstore strips don't do the job I'll buy the Boutique Box. Also, in two weeks I am getting cheek fillers and am excited but a little nervous. Save your time with the lights and rollers but I do believe in prescription Retin-A and anything with a lot of hyaluronic acid though you look great. I was amazed at the scenery on Boxing Day, the cliffs or whatever they are by the sea. Wondering what those flaming balls were, lol.

Loved seeing the winter solstice celebration. I'm like you quite New Years Eve, I'm not a drinker but may have a Sherry. As I'm still suffering with very very bad hot flushes( doctors next week) it giving me a poor appetite, so I've not had any mince pies, no chocolate, and only one big dinner. So I've come out of Christmas lighter than normal lol. The weather is awful in Kent, I spent 2 days with my son in Lewes which was heaven, it's still my home and my aim is ti move back that way as soon as I can. ( Your house would be perfect and if I'm in a position to move when and you decide to down size I maybe interested) . But have a wonderful evening and have a fantastic 2024,sending hugs to Jack.❤

Aww thank you for the lovely message, so kind. I am in a very bad mood today, which you’ll see on Sunday! The weather’s getting me down. I’ll talk about vitamins and minerals for the Sunday vlog but yes am a big fan of the Professor. I have a mixed take on supplements though preferring always to get my nutrients from food but nowadays we can’t trust the soil, air miles or anything else so some supps are essential, like magnesium. But I don’t practise any more as a nutritionist so wouldn’t do a “one size fits all” but will talk more on next vlog. I read his book but can’t remember what he said about supplements! xx

Dear Gloria, thank you so much for your absolutely lovely comment, it makes it all worthwhile when I hear how much you enjoy it. And so many congratulations on knocking the Beast on its head. Your New Year will be such a good one and a VERY HAPPY 80th if I don’t talk to you before. More of Jack in this week’s vlog and lots more on detoxing next week and a bit this weeki! Keep it simple: minimum sugar , Ultra Processed Foods (basically anything in a packet with a list of ingredients!!!) alcohol, maximum rainbow colours on your plate: lots of veg plus fish and a little meat, cheese and all the rest. And make more meals plant-based. I am trying and will share recipes when I find one I really love! Take care, and Happy New Year, Suzi x

Good morning. You're grey/black outfit is beautiful on you. The length of the blouse is a very flattering for your 'body type'. As far as having your 'color chart' done years ago, I am guessing that your hair color was a huge factor. Our skin color also changes with growing older gracefully. :0) Just a thought Suzie, maybe have a new 'color chart' done and do a video on the results and what you plan on doing with it. I agree with you that the hair was a huge factor but they did say, at that time, that skin colour doesn’t change with age and they did cover my hair! Who knows, who cares! If it looks good and you think it looks good, more black please! Good idea about getting my colours done again but pretty sure I can do it at home with harsh light. That would be a goodie for the vlog wouldn’t it? I also had a friend locally who did it but sadly she’s moved away. Food for thought and thank you for the ideas! Happy New Year x

Thank you Suzi, so glad your subscriber numbers are up. I love everything you share with us. I decided to use only clean makeup and it started unfortunately, after Suzanne Somers passed away. I’ve read a couple of her book and they were excellent. I didn’t know she had a clean makeup and products line. I’ve tried many in different products of hers and I love every one. I’m addicted. I’ll never go back to all the poisonous toxins that are in most beauty products. It’s good having the knowledge. Thank you for everything you recommend, I know it will be excellent.I’ve tried other products, like collagen,that you recommended, and it was excellent. Im hearing different information on collagen though. I look forward to an amazing 2024. I have many goals. Another one is walking long distances, at least more than I do now. Thank you for all of your encouragement and motivating lifestyle in wanting to be our best. Happy New Year 2024! Going over my daughters to make stuffed shells, meat and cheese for an early dinner then go home. Not staying up, haven’t done that since my 20’s, sleep is more important for my body.❤️

Hi Susie! Love the Christmas party outfit. I found my grey hair allows me to wear black but still prefer navy blue as my darkest colour. A European natural skin care /make-up range I've used for a few years now is Dr Hauschka. Have you heard of the brand? It's been available here in Australia for quite some years . They have been around as natural alternative since the1960's. I found it surprising that they have been around for so long, and I had been looking for years myself for a range that would suit my sensitive skin. When buying it online, they send a book with your product, and it explains their origins, philosophy, and all the product ingredients. I find that really helpful.
