    'Initial high temperatures'. Did you turn it down at some point?

      Depends on if it needs it. You need to monitor your temperatures and adjust as required. Every bbq is different, temperatures change with weather conditions etc. a windy day or a calm day require different adjustments.

    Mike. Enjoying watching your Weber Baby Q Videos. Great tips. Where did you buy the Weber salt and pepper shakers from? They look great.

      Thanks for the feed back, should be doing some more BBQ videos shortly. Found the shakers in the bargain bin at Mitre10.

    Hey mate, great vid, really handy so thanks for that. Can you tell me where you got your smoking box from? Only ones I can find on the net look huge whereas yours is quite small

      @@MikesManCave thanks for the reply mate :) is there much different between gas vs charcoal as I'm really really keen to try on the charcoal and have an awesome pork leg roast same size as in this video :) I've found a roast calculator here heatbeads.com.au/recipes/realsimple-roast-pork-with-crackling/
      Does this sound right timing wise?

    Good stuff! That roast looks great. Have you tried cooking a brisket low and slow on your Baby Q? If you have, can you share how you did it.

      @MikesManCave  Před 3 lety +2

      No I have never tried it. May be I should pick up a small brisket and give it a try. 👍👍

    Mate - at which point are you turning it off full throttle?

    • @MikesManCave
      @MikesManCave  Před 5 lety +2

      Don't really understand the question, adjust temperature as required, same as an oven or anything else, Your setting depends on your conditions, I could be grilling in 40 degree heat, while you have snow with an icy wind, there is no one setting.

    Dry sense of humour, typical Aussie. Even for your critiques. Refreshing to see good manners.
