This Is The Best Pod Cast out there. Alot of other Pod Casts are just speculation by people who have heard stories, but Bruce was right by Vince's side for 21-years helping to make decisions, so alot of what you get in this Pod Cast is info from someone that was right there. Plus, It's entertaining. A three hour show feels like a half hour.
He won his first wwe title from the rock his second from Austin his third from show his fourth from brock . He's made Austin tap out . He's made Hogan tap out . He's made brock tap out . I believe D'lo Brown was the first man to hold both the IC and European titles simultaneously. Next person to do that was Jeff Jarrett and then Kurt Angle.

As a former athlete that spent years hooked on pain pills, I can attest to everything Kurt said. When I first went to find help, the doctor asked me how many MG I was taking a day. When I told him, his response was 'No, I need to know what you take per day, not per week.'
Luckily, I've been 7 years sober and kicking pain pills was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. It's always great to see another person confront and conquer his demons. Much respect to anyone that can do it.
This was a good episode. Kurt has done it all and went to hell and back. It still baffles me that he spent 8 years in WWE and a decade in TNA. What was insane was that most of his time in TNA is when TNA was at its best between 2006-2012.

I wrestled a show in Oregon in 2016. they flew myself and my buddy from Tampa to Oregon. This is before I moved to Georgia and we were wrestling each other and D'Lo Brown was a backstage agent and there were a few other ex-wwe people there. And I missed a moonsault and that was supposed to be the double down. kind of a chance to catch our breath. It was only the second match I had done in 8 months and the first one was that same day. And when I got to the back dlow and a few other people came up to me and said that was one of the best missed Moonsaults they've seen. Reminds us so much of Kurt Angle. I watched it back and it was probably the best one I've ever done even though I didn't hit it haha.but it knocked the wind out of me so fucking bad. Usually when I do it that doesn't happen but that was supposed to be my time to rest before my buddy's big comeback and I could not catch a breath to save my life. It was horrible. I can't imagine doing one off the top of a cage

According to bruce and vince it was never title for title at Wrestlemania VI it was champion vs champion so the IC was never up for grabs in that match....which kinda makes sense because why would Hogan need the IC belt if he won? This never entered my mind as an 8 year old at the time but makes sense now
According to Bruce and Vince that is total bullshit. The match was HEAVILY promoted as being title-for-title. Gorilla Monsoon even said and I quote....
"One man could conceivably leave the Skydome with both the World Wrestling Federation title, and the Intercontinental title."
Obviously Hogan wasn't going over because the plan was to put the belt on the Warrior while Hogan took time off to go film _Suburban Commando._ The match was title-for-title. Prichard doesn't like to give the Ultimate Warrior credit for *ANYTHING.* He goes out of his way to run him down.
D2K Prime yeah i know what was said by Gorilla...i watched it live on ppv and taped it and watched it a thousand times since...of course someone was gonna leave with both titles...i loved ultimate warrior and i know Bruce is very critical of him..but title for title makes no sense if you dont keep both titles...the ic was immediately vacated and would have been no matter who won..so REALLY IT WAS JUST A HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH...WHICH IS WHAT HE WAS TRYING TO GET ACROSS IN HINDSIGHT..THINK ABOUT TITLE FOR TITLE JUST MAKES IT SOUND LIKE A BIGGER MATCH BUT CLEARLY THAT WAS NEVER GOING TO BE THE CASE PERIOD

Conrad is always salty if you dont just agree with him or say what he wants to hear. All he wants to hear is how people get fucked over and he just wants to act like he's so pg/PC. I enjoy alot of these podcasts but he can make me so sick sometimes

The best in the ring I ever saw. Obviously Michaels and Flair have the longevity on Angle but that just reenforces my believe that if he hadn't spent those years in TNA he'd be in the argument.
The only reason TNA hired is him is because they didn't give a damn about his safety

Bret couldn’t wrestle anymore. The head injury he suffered against Goldberg in WCW pretty much ended his career and he suffered a stroke in 2002 (around the time of Wrestlemania 18) which left him temporarily wheelchair bound so that match would’ve been impossible to put together. Aside from the fact that his bad blood with Vince wouldn’t have simmered down just yet as it was barely 5 years since the Montreal Screw job. It is a crying shame it never happened though as I agree that is one hell of a dream match that would’ve been one for the ages given both of their technical abilities. I’m fairly certain a fully fit and healthy Bret Hart in 2002 would’ve still been able to pull it off against Kurt Angle.
I was a HUGE mark for Kurt Angle. One of my absolute favorite wrestlers. Loved to hate him and watch others hate him. Classic heel!!

HBK was European Champion before the screw Job. Than beat Bret Hart and had now The World Title. And held it till December till he also did the Kevin Nash finger poke of Death match on Raw and list it to HHH. Cuz commissioner slaughter made him defend it against HHH and the WWF thought they pulled a fast one on DX. But HBK played them and had the match cuz if he didn't they said they would strip him of both his Championship's. But the first ones ever was HBK and Diesel back in 94 and again in 95 trust me I was there.
I still find it absolutely hilarious that HHH didn't think it would be believable that an Olympic gold medalist in wrestling could beat him in a wrestling match.
Actually, HBK was a dual champion 3 years before Kurt was (talking about the conversation @ the 48 minute mark). HBK held the World strap as well as the European strap simultaneously for about a month before he passed the European title to Triple H on Raw.

Conrad making a big deal out of Rey losing his debut match (iIt wasn’t even Rey’s debut. His debut was against Chavo on Smackdown. Which he WON). It was against Kurt and Kurt made him look damn good. Doesn’t bother me at all. I’m sure they did it cause he was former WCW but they didn’t bury him. At all. But they definitely have a pattern of making guys from competition companies lose but this instance was fine.

Kurt was probably the 1st heel to outright cry after winning a title hell besides Shawn Michaels you didn't see the baby face cry so that made it feel real I remember The Miz won the Us title in 09 and at the time I couldn't stand him he starts crying and I'm damn I'll leave him alone than he had that promo leading to his match against mvp and I think was the turning point.
Kurt cried because at the time they were doing his crying gimmick dating back to his win at the Olympics.

I like Rey as much as the next guy but there’s no way he should beat Kurt . I thought the match was very good as well. I think they both got over and don’t see the problem. I get that you want Rey to win on his debut PPV but it doesn’t always have to be the same formula.

What a memory Bruce. The Man who Super Kicked & started the Attitude ERA HBK The Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels was The First Ever as he held the World Title and European Title. Oh wait scratch that when he and Diesel were both HBK IC Champion & Big Daddy Cool World Champ and they Won the Tag Team Titles both vs The Head Shrinkers in 94 and beating Owen and Yoko when Bulldog took his place in the first ever who ever you pinned you would Win that Title. All the 4 Championship's we're on The Line. Learn your History and The Warrior you could say was the First but back then they didn't count it and had him forfeit the IC Title cuz you couldn't hold two Championship's at once. Which made no sense when you look at The reason to make The Champion Vs Champion Match at WM 6.

Also he never said he wanted someone to have an undefeated streak. At least not where I'm at in the video. You talking about Rey Misterio? It was bad business to build him up just to take the pin, but there are ways to cover for it like having Angle win by just the skin of his teeth and him winning his next matches - thus making both Angle and Rey look good. I can understand why Conrad feels the way he does but I think he just jumped the gun, he's friends with Bruce so he doesn't want to seem like he's not asking the tough questions and isn't calling Bruce on his bs - this leads him towards jumping the gun every now and again.

The European title was pointless. Europe is a continent and thus, it’s covered by the IC title... they should have done a submission title or something different but, it’s done now....and he wasn’t the first duel champ.. Warrior, HBK, D-Lo, even the wcw had Goldberg win the world title when US champ and Scott Hall hold the US and TV title simultaneously.
