Chick hicks causing the accident in the starting race can be considered reckless endangerment because like you said with axel, these cars are human like such as oil being like water and engines being there organs plus the cars looks pretty banged up after it happened so on top of that he will get like 2 months and 20,000 dollar fine also he did it so he can win the race no matter the cost

First off, Miles Axelrod made Allinol to react violently with EMPs, which as shown causes critical damage - even fatal damage - at higher ranges. However, Mater makes a Mortal Kombat reference when he says he can "reach into a car's hood and pull out their battery before he stalls"; this refers to how Scorpion can rip out an opponent's heart so fast they can see it before they die.
Second; Professor Zundapp planted a BOMB on Mater, with a remote trigger that failed when Mater went out of range.

Zundapp also killed Agent Leland Turbo, or ordered his killing, and according to a deleted scene, he was crushed to death. But let's consider the racing penalties for Chick Hicks. When Kyle Busch wrecked Ron Hornaday in 2011, ending Hornaday's chances at the truck series championship, Kyle was immediately parked for the race by Nascar. If the Piston Cup were to use the same level of discipline since it ended the King's championship hopes, Chick smashing into the King on the final lap of the LA race would likely end in the same penalty, thus giving the Piston Cup to The King as McQueen pushed him to the line.

    • @handsomedevil4928

    Sir Axelrod:
1:30 This is tough. Axelrod merely laid doubt as to the safety of regular fuel, rather than actually make it dangerous. I doubt "Grand scale conspiracy" is a specific crime in the U.K, but a conspiracy undoubtedly existed and could still nevertheless result in a life sentence.
1:58 50 years is too long for fraud+defamation.
2:55 No. The intent was not to kill the drivers. This would be Assault with a Deadly Weapon (multiple counts).
3:10 Torture would require this to be done on a regular basis. This is a one-and-done situation for all the cars involved, which is covered by the Assault with a Deadly Weapon charge.
3:45 According to the Treason act of 1351 (as amended), High Treason is defined as:
Adultery with the monarchs immediate family.
    Levying war against the sovereign
Assisting an enemy in levying war against the sovereign,
Murder of the Chancellor of the Exchequer,
    Or,
Murder of the Lord High Chancellor.
With a handful of exceptions, most of which occurred 400+ years ago. High Treason has not been tried in the U.K since 1945, and it would be very difficult to convict Sir Axelrod. His knighthood, however, would certainly be revoked.
    Professor Zündapp
First of all, since Prof. Zündapp and Sir Axelrod are engaged in a conspiracy, Axelrod is also guilty of all crimes Prof. Zündapp performs on his behalf.
5:00 same complication noted at 1:30.
5:40 No. This is attempted murder in the 2nd degree, not the 1st. Zündapp made the decision on the fly, and did not plan it out.
6:25 One could argue that since Zündapp committed terrorism, Sir Axelrod is therefore guilty of High Treason. However, the attacks were not against the British state per se, rather against racers (and a tow truck) of various nationalities, It would still be difficult to convict Sir Axelrod of High Treason.
    Jackson Storm
7:34 Speech protected by the 1st Amendment and therefore not a crime. McQueen could seek a civil suit for damages and/or a restraining order.
7:55 + 8:20 Stalking is the closest thing to "Harassment" crime wise in the State of Florida, where the altercations take place. This would require Storm to do this on multiple, multiple occasions (He only does this twice, and not in the capacity of stalking). McQueen and Cruz Ramirez could seek a civil suit for damages and/or a restraining order.
NOTE: I'm not a legal expert, so I could be wrong on something, but I believe this is more accurate then what the video states.

Forget about Jackson Storm! It's Chick Hicks who needs to be on this list. He needs to be the one who gets towed to the impound by Mater....
I mean he not only causes emotional damage...to where along side Jackson Storm...making McQueen want to retire even more. I mean he was quite rude with his remarks as well on his show in the 3rd movie. But then he also did attempted murder as well. 3 times...one of those times was the first race ever and he not only puts McQueen and Strip Weathers in danger but also puts everyone else in the race in danger. One car actually had to be towed out because he couldn't move at all unless he was being towed...another time he put McQueen and Strip in danger was when he wouldn't let McQueen pass so he starting slamming into him on purpose...not to be competitive...to be flat out mean...forcing McQueen to go to the pits to get a quick refuel and tire change because he used most of his fuel to race and fight back with Chick and because he had a flat tire....in that process he also makes Strip swerve out of the way just so he wouldn't be in the danger zone as well...he then causes all 3 of them to swerve...and when he realizes that Mcqueen is just gonna win...he turns to Strip and decides to make him flip over...THREE times...now McQueen of course by the end of this first movie had learned many of the important lessons that the franchise teaches us: first film was about real success, actions have consequences, teamwork is important, sometimes you don;t get to do what you want but you have to learn to handle those fears and learn to let go, and friends and family are the most important thing...but McQueen hadn't learned those lessons and he hadn't given Strip that jump start...Strip would have been making more dust than progress..Actually Strip wouldn't have been able to move altogether if McQueen hadn't learned those lessons and helped out a friend. So actually Chick Hicks has 2 cases of attempted murder, 3 cases of physical harm and one case of emotional harm.

Note as some countries like Japan will allow you to still redeem yourself even if when you have a life sentence (I watch a youtuber who told a real story about where a man escaped the harder prison in 4 ways in 2 of which relates to a miso soup?! "That is because since they tend to be salty because the guards a bad at the higher level.... Meaning that the metal can rust quicker" also after he escaped 4 times, the judge finally realised that the guy did not hurt anyone "he even have a friend from one of the better prison tho it is still bad but not as much that is the head counselor..." So when the judge found out about him not hurting anyone midway, the guy got sent to a better prison which is good and he never escape again because one:he felt safe and two:he no longer have motivation "even if he have one,he doesn't want to" and also he was able to redeem himself all the way to only four months and he is free)

For the defamation charge, that one would probably not stick in court, as for a charge of defamation, I believe you have to have serious reputational and/or monetary loss. Someone can correct me if I am wrong but I do believe that Miles Axlerod would be found not guilty of defamation, considering that defamation is hard to prove. Much less would he get a charge of 50 years for it.

Smack talk is not illegal in the USA. At most he would be breaking rules set up by the sports association that runs the races. If that is the case he would be in breach of contract which is a tort not a crime. The racing association could fine him based on whatever contract he signed. If DA tried to bring him up on those charges it would be thrown out as he did not seek them out outside of the race track. In fact they came to the race knowing he was there.
Next. Purposely and knowingly putting some one in a situation where they could seriously injured is a crime. For example, a boxer who hurts someone in a sanctioned fight has committed no crime, but if that boxer has put weights in his gloves has committed assault or worse because he knew it would be dangerous for the other fighter. Same can be said for a car who puts another car into the wall on purpose.
