Mario and his allies have been looked upon as heroes for many years. No matter what it takes, they look to save the day and keep the Mushroom Kingdom and beyond a peaceful place. Of course, every good hero needs a good villain, and the Mario franchise has plenty of those. Many of the Mario baddies have actually done some terrible things, and today, we are putting them on trial to see exactly what they can be sentenced for.

It’s actually terrifying how close he came to succeeding in his plans, which involved a multiverse reset and crowning himself supreme ruler and god of the one he’d then remake in his image.
He was also smart enough to have that contingency to leave behind enough power to keep controlling the Chaos Heart after his apparent death to simply just pull a multiverse omnicide out of spite for his loss to the heroes.
And while this is thwarted, it’s a Pyrrhic victory for the heroes. Bottom line, this would be awesome to see in cinema if Nintendo would ever acknowledge SPM for the achievement it is from a story angle to do so.
Dimentio is the closest Character in the Mario Universe to be a Final Fantasy Villain.
The same people who created final fantasy also created Super Mario RPG. Heck, they even included an optional boss (Culex) for a reference.

Dimentio OBVIOUSLY had to be here! The crimes he's committed, how close to success he was, he's basically irredeemable!
One thing you missed with Dimentio is that additional lore mentions he is a mercenary, both before and possibly during his time serving Count Bleck. Confirming he does have a body count as well.

One thing you forgot to mention about Dimentio:
He’s basically all but confirmed to have been the one that authored the Dark Prognosticus in the first place, making him directly responsible for the countless lives it’s ruined, and the worlds destroyed using it’s power. On top of that, he’s heavily implied to be one the The Ancients of Flipside. He also has a history with the Pixls, as shown by Tippi RECOGNIZING him as someone from her past (this is never followed up on), so it’s possible he has a connection to the Pixl Queen who nearly wiped the Ancients out several millennia ago.
Those other points I think I remember hearing from the bartenders, but where did you get evidence that Dimentio wrote the Dark Prognosticus? Genuinely curious.

I'm in King Boo would have gotten as bad of a punishment as a Bowser but you can't really kill what's already dead so he gets the Fate that he's already suffering

So basically in the case that Bowser Jr and antisma are executed then most of Mario’s enemies except for King Boo, Waluigi, and Wario would be dead with King Boo spending life in prison meaning that Mario would have very few enemies meaning that he could actually retire and settle down with Peach.
Dimentio being the Nintendo equivalent of Thanos, that's a good one. Heck, he should have been a character in Smash as an enemy or villain in the classic modes.
Despite the crimes he is guilty of, it still somehow makes me sad to see Bowser receive the death penalty, as for me, he is one of those villains you can't really hate.
Bowser is made to be a likeable villain, and he's literally my favorite Mario character and one of my favorite characters in fiction, so yeah. Though he'd still deserve that fate honestly, being likeable doesn't change the fact he's also pretty evil'

still it's enough for a death penalty or in Russia Life In Prison (which means you are imprisoned forever no chance of Parole) because in Russia laws are different than in USA we do not have death penalty implemented because it will have negative impact in the country such as Police Brutality, Further Population Decline in Russia as if COVID was bad enough worldwide add death penalty as well for the population decline

You should had also included more Paper Mario villains in this video, most notably, the Shadow Queen and King Olly. Even if the latter went through a redemption arc, he still won't be exempt from his sentence.

Dimentio had it coming- and this video doesn't even bring up what Dimentio tried to do *after* being killed- instead of recreating all worlds in their image, Dimentio instead decided to attempt complete omnicide- with no intent of bringing them back- attempted omnicide is likely THE worst crime someone could commit.
Actually it was Bleck who wanted to leave the multiverse as a desolate nothingness. Dimentio is the one who reveals that motivation to the heroes, and it’s part of why he wanted to betray Bleck. Not tryna start an argument I’ve jus played this game an unhealthy amount.
@@galaxygerm1037 I'm pretty sure both wanted to, just for different reasons- Bleck fell to darkness because of their misery, while Dimentio initially wanted to recreate all worlds in his image, but then, from what I remember, when he was beaten as Super Dimentio, he'd use the chaos heart one last time to try and destroy all worlds, without bringing them back

Arguably villains like King Boo, The Shroobs, and Dimentio Should've had death in a worst way. King Boo: A Christ ritual to erase the king from existence. The Shroobs: Banished to a time prison for threatening the past/present/ and eventual future mushroom kingdom. Dimentio: Should get a taste of his own medicine by being erased from existence like he tried to do to everyone else in the Paper Mario Verse.
Keep in mind most of the times the RPG spinoff villains (aside from Bowser, who is more complicated and been in most Mario games) are the ones who usually have no remorse and are even worse than the Koopa king himself, so...
Well, it's also bowser too who has been a danger to the whole universe. It depends from game to game
Cursa should have been on this list. First of all, the sheer scope of her crimes are fourth to only Bowser, Count Bleck, and Dimentio, conspiring to threaten an entire galaxy. She attempted to drain the energy of Beacon Beach, Pristine Peaks, Pallet Prime, Terra Flora, and Barrendel Messa, FIVE PLANETS, six with Sparks of Hope's second DLC pack. While we don't know what would happen if a planet is fully drained, they wreck ecological havoc in the process. There was no limit to her villainy, Cursa attempted to murder Lumas, literal BABIES, and while she didn't kill the Sparks she got her hands on, absorbing their energy and trapping them in her body could be considered unlawful imprisonment and torture, which she did specifically to psychologically torture Rosalina, who she was possessing. And then there's her own "children". The Spark Hunters (Edge notwithstanding) and likely all of her other creations were purposefully made without complete free will, which can be considered both brainwashing and child abuse. The minions that were created by merging rabbit DNA with animals could be considered animal abuse and brainwashing of those animals. She also brainwashed Bowser's army, which should considered be an act of terrorism against the Koopa Kingdom. Cursa attempted to murder Captain Orion and presumably Rabbid Rosalina if she was his passanger at the time, DEFINITELY tried to murder Rabbid Rosalina along with the other heroes, with an extra attempt on Mario and Rabbid Peach at the start of the game, and ANOTHER attempt on Mario and Rabbid Rosalina on Barrendel Messa. While Rosalina's brief escape allowed the others to get away, Cursa is still guilty of conspiracy to murder them. Cursa recapturing Rosalina is absolutely kidnapping, which is the second count as while their inital merging was unintentional, Cursa fought to maintain it despite Rosalina's clear opposition to it, holding her against her will. Cursa also stole the Comet Observatory to make her stronghold around it.
Because the Spark Hunters, Edge not withstanding, literally did not have the free will to oppose her, they cannot be held responsible for the crimes committed on Cursa's orders, only Cursa herself can. Said crimes are many counts of kidnapping, a combined 27 counts of attempted murder (adding to Cursa's 14-15), Bedrock's destruction of property duking it out with Bowser, and Daphne's impersonation of Momma.
Cursa is a threat to all living things, and if allowed to live she could force Midnite, Bedrock, and Daphne to commit more crimes. She MUST be given the death penalty and be executed by complete disintegration so there is no remnant of her that could form into a new villain. While they are not guilty by a unique case of insanity, Midnite, Bedrock, and Daphne shouldn't be put in a correctional facility as their lack of will was only in regards to orders from Cursa, if simply left to their own devices they can live normal law-abiding lives.
I think bowser’s also accountable for child endangerment, since he sends his children out to do his fighting so he can weasel his way out of it

You forgot to mention that Wario and Waluigi committed an act of attempted murder in the ending cutscene of Mario Super Sluggers where while Mario and Donkey Kong are hitting firework bomb ombs from a pitching machine, Wario and Waluigi sneak behind and put a bullet bill in there to kill Mario and nearly succeeded until Bowser jumped in and saved Mario.

Dimentio is NEVER one to be trusted he's off the charts on power and malicious behavior...
I mean, a Thanos Level Threat is Bowser from the Galaxy Games. Count Bleck and Dimentio are Multiversal threats, as while it's said as "Destroy all Worlds" in the game, it is actually canonically universes that the Chaos Heart Destroys. Not even just universes, but spaces between universes/dimensions like Flipside and Flopside, which are stated in game as being between dimensions. Also, given how long each Super Paper Mario Chapter is, Nintendo could feasibly make 9 movies out of the one game, divided as follows: Movie One would be the romance story of Blumiere and Timpani, ending with Blumiere becoming Count Bleck, destroying his people, and going to the Mushroom Kingdom and kidnapping everyone he does. Movie 2 would start with the wedding causing the creation of the Chaos Heart, and then the rest of movie 2 through 8 would be each of the chapters from SPM. And Movie 9 would be the Hero's battle against Count Bleck in his castle, the defeat, Dimentio seizeing control, and then his defeat, ultimately ending with the True Love Wedding of Timpani and Blumiere. The only real challenge would be SPM Chapter 6, or movie 7 in this case, as that's the only one thats not a full 4 chapters, instead only being about 1.25 chapters long. Though it would end with the destruction of Sammer's Kingdom World, which would be epic to see on screen.

In my opinion I believe that dimentio is not only the most evilist mario character in the mario franchise, but also the most evilist nintendo character to be created. Heck even newer mario villains like cursa and king olly weren't even nearly as bad as dimentio when you compare them to his crimes in super paper mario.
The only character to compete with him would be Demise, the literal embodiment of evil.

Donkey Kong is no longer a villain anymore, and is now a hero of his own spin-off franchise. He's on good terms being civil with Mario now, and is a good friend to Pauline. So it's good that he wasn't charged for any of his past crimes in this video. King Boo my favorite Super Mario villain got the best punishment for his crimes of being trapped inside a painting with no way out.🦍👑👻🚨

Thanks for not including their crimes in the other sources than the Mario games. In Brawl, Bowser stole the Kongs’ bananas, kidnapped Donkey, captured one of the princesses and attempted to abduct Diddy THREE TIMES! Without forgetting the two moments where he also attempted to abduct Fox, even though the two moments failed, because Fox ran away with Diddy the first time, and the second time, Falco saw Bowser assaulting Fox to kidnap him and immediately intervened to protect him. Finally, he’s in the Subspace Army, assaulted king Dedede’s base and attacked Mario, Link, Pit, Kirby and Yoshi before retrying to capture Diddy and Fox.

The floating bricks are literally in the wild, not in Toad town or any other places where people actually live in, and the only people there are Bowser's minions who are just there to stop Mario, NONE lives there and hitting those bricks is practiced by.. EVERYONE in the mushroom kingdom and isn't frowned upon.

on the topic of Paper Mario, you didn't try the Shadow Queen. A lot of what the X-Nauts and Shadow Sirens do in the game is done in her name, plus she did try to plunge the world into darkness and possessed Peach in the process. Plus attempted murder of Grodus, Mario and his partners, and brainwashing is implied if you have Mario choose to accept her offer to join her.

You missed Super Mario RPG's main villain: Smithy. His crimes are "illegal eviction" for kicking Bowser out of his own castle, "terrorism" for his own acts against the Mushroom Kingdom, "attempted murder" and "attempt regicide" for his repeated attempts on the lives of the main heroes, "grand larceny" for his snatching one of the 7 Star Pieces, "attempted grand larceny" for his minions' snatching two of them. First instance of that was after the 5th Star Piece is acquired, where Yaridovich uses the real Seaside Town elder as a hostage to make Mario fork over the Star Piece, which adds "blackmail & extortion" to Smithy's charges due to Yaridovich being one of Smithy's minions. Second instance of "attempted grand larceny" is when the Axem Rangers snag the Star Piece in the volcano just as Mario was about to retrieve it and then try to make off with the stolen goods. The 7 Star Pieces are valuable in the fact that they make up the pieces of the Star Road, which in the lore of Super Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars can grant wishes. Regarding the sentence for Smithy, given the charges of "terrorism" and the fact three of those he tries to off are royalty, I'd say the death penalty would be warranted. Bowser is the Koopa King, Peach is the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, and Mallow is the Prince of Nimbus Land.

I feel like we're missing three more characters. I would've added Mario, Donkey Kong, & even Kamek as villians, mainly from the DK arcade games, Mario VS DK series, & the Yoshi series. Oh, I can't forget about the villians from the Wario Land games & DKC series as well.
I love how they gave the DEATH PENALTY TO Antasma, Cackletta Fawful, and the Shroobs since the die in the games they are in.
Antasma Swells up and EXPLODES upon returnign to the real world after you defeat him.
Cackletta has her SOUL DESTORYED! (It LITTERALY BLOWS UP after you defeat it and EVAPORATES INTO NOTHING when leaving Bowser's Body)
Fawful BLOWS HIMSELF UP trying to take the Bros and Starlow with him (as stated, possibly Destorying his own soul in the process as well)
Younger Princess Shroob DISINTAGRATES into nothing a few minuets after being defeated.
Elder Princess Shroob, is transformed into a Shroob Mushroom once defeated, gets EATEN by Bowser, posseces him and then has her SOUL DESTORYED also by the fireball attacks she makes Bowser do.
And the rest of the Shroob race is KILLED in the Elder Princess Shroob fight and melted/disintagrated by water with the same chemical makeup as Baby Tears raining down on them.
I'm surprised they didn't add the Dark Star to the list. The Dark Star not only commits a great amount of Terrorism and Murder when the Toads dug it up all those years ago. But also stole the life energy of Princess Peach, Assaulted Bowser from inside his body, Brainwashed/Corrupted the enemies (which were the equilivent of an immue system) in the Airway of Bowser's Throat, commited IDENITY THEFT by stealing some of Bowser's DNA and became Dark Bowser, Attempeted to murder Bowser multipule time to replace him, but also tried to commit MASSIVE GENOCIED by unleahsing the FULL DARK POWER creating a MASSIVE DARKNESS HURRICANE, which would have caused all of the mushroom kingdom and it's citizens to VANISH, possibly absorbing their life energy into itself also.
I"m also surprised they only added Diminetio on the list for the Paper Mario villians but didn't add Gordous, Lord Crump, the Shadow Sirens and the Shadow Queen onto it.
Popple: Thievery, Murder, Brainwashing (Rookie.) Punishment: Tied onto Bowser as he gets the death penalyty.
Cackletta also could be charged with Usupering the Throne while possessing bowser and grand larceny for stealing the beanstar since it's stealing an item that has limitless value which would catorgize the theft as grand larceny.

Gadd should also be sentenced, he would get a charge for making a monopoly during the early Mario Party games, MULTIPLE abduction and illegal imprisonment, even though the majority of ghosts were hostile, he did take Luigi against his will, he does let out all the non hostile ghosts after the events of Luigi’s Mansion 2 and 3, but he doesn’t let out the boos that’s even more false imprisonment, and last but not least, he will be charged for reckless endangerment, he sent a invention that was not tested and let the princess to try it out first, a monarch, and he also did give Junior the paint brush that caused multiple cases on vandalism and got a innocent man, Mario, sentenced for the crimes of Junior. I have not figured out his sentence, but it might not be death, it’s the same case from elder kettle, so I estimate life and multiple fines
And Mario should be sentenced as well. Even the biggest heroes are not saints.
