Thank goodness finally an English video. I was almost giving up on searching the comparison video. I like both the phones Even though i recently got the redmi note 8 6gb ram and 128 gb rom cosmic purple. Its best and im enjoying my games in high resolution graphics and of course shadows, screen effects etc..

The only good thing in redmi note 8's camera is that it can capture more fps in videos (720p = 960fps, 1080p = 120fps, 4k = 30fps)

The display is fine. Under direct sunlight, you'll need to increase the brightness to the max

Glad I could help. The mi A3 is a decent phone. Have you tried the GFX tool that gives you 60fps when you play PUBG? It's amazing. That's if you play games.

Great comparison bro 🔥 Personally i would take the Mi A3 over the Note 8, Having the imx586 & using Gcam with the right APK & configs takes amazing pics on par with best of them i tried & tested both phones, the IMX586 unleashes it's capabilities with GCam to another level, Bluetooth 5 over Bluetooth 4, Oled over Lcd with better contrast ratio is amazing for the *price* not to mention Oled screens have other benefits such as battery saving. Also if stock android with long term updates is a priority then the A3 is the better overall package. Macro camera is not a priority, Having a great main lens & wide angle is perfect enough for me.

Display is more of a personal choice. I love amoled displays but the IPS LCD display on the note 8 isn't bad at all. I just prefer the warmer and vibrant nature of amoled displays.

I prefer the mi A3 and yes the mi A3 has stabilizer at 1080p, I shot that video at 4k that's why it doesn't have stabilization.

It's actually hard to find Android One phones that can match the A3's value for money even in Apr 2020. Nokia and Motorola phones that have comparable specs are more expensive. The only weakness of the A3 for me is the late Android 10 update. Other issues such as the slow fingerprint sensor has been improved through updates.

Best for low light is Redmi note 8 in my opinion. With two Sims, both Sims work on 4G.

BTW, as I am still torn between Xiaomi Mi A3 and Redmi Note 8 Pro (money are always an issue in my case), have you experienced any eye strain after extensive use of "the king" (Mi A3), especially while reading? As a major downside of AMOLED displays, it is often mentioned the PWM backlight control, which bothers some people, and Mi A3's screen flickers at 219 Hz (which is a relatively low sequence). Of course, technical specs are one thing, direct user experience another, that's why I'm asking you. I hope you don't mind...
Hi, I don't really do a lot of reading on the mi A3 but I do a lot of WhatsApp and telegram chatting and I haven't experienced eye strain. The slightly bigger display of the note 8 is a plus if you intend to do a lot of reading. But for the mi A3, I personally haven't had my eyes strained by the display.
@@valorreviews I mean reading in the most general sense. I wouldn't bother to read whole books on any screen that emits light (at least not anymore). I have an ebook reader using e-ink technology for that purpose. Thanks for the honest answer. I guess the next logical step is to go to a physical store and see which one of these two phones feels more comfortable.

Hi, the mi A3 is a fantastic phone. The display is really good. Its a 720P display, colors are sharp and you really can't see the pixelation except you put the display like an inch from your face. It isn't low resolution and it isn't annoying.
Between the S8 and the Mi A3, yes the S8 is the more powerful device, it has a better display but you don't know how well the previous owner used the phone. Watch out for pixel burn ins and battery level of the device. If you can get a very good S8, I think you should go for it. Its the better device. But if you can't, just go for the brand mi A3.

The Mi9t is a special phone...the snapdragon 710 is way better than the snapdragon 665 found on the mi A3. Get the Mi 9t bro... You won't regret it .....the popup camera swag, good design, 1080p amoled display on the Mi9t....mehn I love that phone .
The question is : how much do you want /can you spend for a phone, because you could also buy the best Xiaomi which is the mi 9t pro

i have been using mia3 for 3 months now. i brought it the first day the phone launched in my country. there were speculation on how bad the screen was and the resolution is trash. but yes finally someone said this, the amoled in mia3 is so much better than those lcd 1080's. this is an amazing phone. i mean the update is still not available for the android 10. yet in 2019 to have a premium device of such sort with awesome camera and specs and to be able to use it by one hand is a privilege. also the camera is not a tie. Mia3 can be seen clearly better in terms of colors. note 8 has a bland background.
