    Nice video. Out of curiousity, do you use the default time for the double shot? Or have you set it differently?
    (trying to set the time for my preground coffee as not much comes out with the default time)

      Maybe the preground coffee you are using is way to fine, maybe you are using to much coffe , or maybe you need to clean your pressurize basket

      Breville machines adjust time shot automatically,

      @@EstebanHernandez-hs6zl It's not true, you can find the right shot time with the right amount of coffee and right fine ground, you had yours too coarse, the temperature is the only one parameter you cant change.

    Where can I find the bottomless portafilter? I have the same machine and I don’t like the stock portafilter. Great video btw! I’ve learnt a lot

    I just got the bambino plus and the smart grinder pro, so I understand in this video that the default pressurized tool that breville supplies is not as good as using a non pressurized tool? I will be using freshly grinded coffee. Thanks!

    @Stan_sprinkle Před 3 lety +1

    How much of the pressurized being worse has to do with using preground coffee? Wouldn’t grinding the same beans for pressurized be the more fair comparison?

    • @EstebanHernandez-hs6zl
      @EstebanHernandez-hs6zl  Před 3 lety +1

      The thing is, if you have a grinder then you would not use the pressurized, so that’s why I used the preground, cuz that’s what you use when you don’t have a grinder,… but the real difference is time, pre ground goes pale a lot quicker.

    may I know how fine did you set? should I manual set the perinfusion time? As I saw the manual states the default preinfusion time is 2-8s

    All your extractions are too fast. You need to time it right after it touches the class. Manual mode is good recommended.

    not sure what this video achieves, too many variables, should have used the same coffee for both or used the same portafilter, no doubt using specialist bean coffee over store bought is better, same way its better to use a open portafilter over a pressurised one, but these are 2 extremes.

  • @quinnliu5967

    nice video, I just bought bambino too but I don't know why it takes only 12-15seconds to get a double shot (included perinfusion and brewing time), the crema is not that much and coffee is pale too. I use hand grinder and set the finest powder already, but the flow is still so fast, do you know why?

    • @ItamarMedeiros
      @ItamarMedeiros Před 2 lety

      The finest setting on your grinder might not be fine enough, or the tamping has not compressed the coffee compact enough to create the pressure for a longer extraction

      Mine pours too quickly as well, and it’s not the grind. (I was a barista for many many years) Is their a way to adjust the pour time? I have resorted to using quads in all my drinks for now.
