I went to the lumber yard to buy some four by 2s but they said they only had two by 4s Would that work lf I rotated them so that the inch and half side is showing? Thanks!
Do you have any videos explaining your cut technique with the depth adjustment not locked in? You all look so fluid and smooth with your cuts. I've only ever used sidewinders and have never seen this done with one... Is that technique more reserved for worm-drive style saws? It's like you're sort of plunge cutting but not really.
I usually leave the depth locked at max depth unless I need it to be shallower, a lot of guys will leave it loose and drop the saw in with the plate loose letting it keep the blade square, the only reasons I don’t do it are mostly habit
As a new learning carpenter, this is by far the best channel on youtube. Keep up the good work bud ! cheers

Nope, doesn’t work!
But you can cut it down the middle, then glue it the other way, that works
@@Coffmanconstructionbut that would end up with a board that is inch and half by three inches. I think I'll buy 2 by 2s instead. Thanks again!
@@mixers7110 I still can’t tell if this is a joke 😂
What boots are you running?
Red vans
