I have the same flashlight. I use 4 cell - CR123s (because I bought a bunch in bulk). The TK35 is nice but I have a skinnier 2 cell CR123 that is almost as bright (860 lumens) that I prefer to use. I have used the TK35 in the house when the power is out. When on high or turbo it and the light reflected off the ceiling it is brighter than my ordinary lamps! I don't have much need for that size of flashlight in the field.
Update: my flashlight went MIA. I had it in my backpack which was stolen from my car.
