    Warcraft Orcs and Humans
    Warcraft 2 Tides of Darkness and Beyond the Dark Portal
    Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne.

    • @BuzzKirill3D

      Fatih Bilkil that magical spark you're talking about is called nostalgia

    • @MrTechFox
      @MrTechFox Před 9 lety +3

      Nebuchadnezzaurus Exactly, nostaligia and nothing more. WoW still is amazing, just as amazing as anything we see here. I cannot wait to see Grom in Warlords of Draenor, the hero of the entire orc race, twisted by Garrosh into an enemy bent on conquering azeroth >

    • @ivangushkov3651
      @ivangushkov3651 Před 9 lety

      Fatih Bilkil WoW is just as epic as it was back then. We are just used to it, we take such an amazing game and expiriance for granted. We are more grown up and cynical. Yes Cataclysm sort of killed the granduer and advanture that we felt, simply because it was so damn small and we already sort of knew what to expect, there was no discovery of a new continent theme that WoW has always been known for. But WoD and i dare say even MoP returned that feel of OMG i am someone small in someplace big ;D
      Pandaria is gorgeous if you give it a chance. Its not about raiding or one shot macros. It never was back in the day. We became cynical and used to doing only that. A new player can have just as much fun and OMG moments as we did, if he is not touched by the terrible atitude, not only towards n00bz, but also toward the game. I have an IRL friend who once said to me, Ye i played some WoW, a buddy used RaF and now i have 2 lvl 85s doing nothin. I smiled sadly at him and told him he had been robed of an adventure on the scope of Star Wars...he said he realises that and that made me even more sad.

    • @ivangushkov3651
      @ivangushkov3651 Před 9 lety

      Fatih Bilkil No i totally agree that MoP and Cata story was far fetched to say the least. But they really steped up the way they tell a story in those 2 expacks. Most people will agree, TBC and Vanilla didnt have a good story. There was no clear villian and the focus of the plot was all over the place. When i see fucking Ilidan presented so epicly in the TBC cinematic, i expect him to hold that level of epicness in the game. What exactly are we not prepared for? That story had so much potential that it almost sucks how they told it in game. I expected to see him as the last boss, the whole expansion leading up to him, like we saw in wrath with the lich king. But no, kill him off in the first content patch, way to go blizz...that is the reason imo why so many fans want to see him back.
      With MoP, Cata and to some extend Wrath the story was much more streamlined and easy to follow. This is great if you ask me.
      And then hits WoD, absoloutly groundslaming MoP and cata so far. You have to give it a go, you owe it to yourself as a WoW fan. Not only does it feel like WoW again, but it tells an amazing story. You say its out of the place. I am not so sure. Think of it this way: We are visiting the homeworld of the orcs and get to see the dreanei in their prime on dreanor. As it does not mess with our story, it gives them freedom to just ask this simple question:
      What if? (and this is not only about the blood of manaroth, they are revisiting some really cool storylines and asking what if)
      As a WoW fan i cannot belive you are not getting nerdgasms one after the other at the thought of visiting Dreanor before it was turned into Outland. Also they are basicaly trying to tell the story of Beyond the dark portall, all over again. Dreanor is as much from the original lore as it gets friend.
      They probably wont do something with Sylvanas very soon, which is sad, mainly because of gameplay reasons. Also from lore perspective, who will lead the forsaken when she is gone? Lillian Voss i guess, but she needs to accept she is undead first. They have kinda screwed themselves with Sylvanas :(....

      @tremedar Před 9 lety

      MrTechFox
      Garrosh didn't twist him into anything, he was always an evil bastard intent on conquest, it was only after the entire horde was defeated and held prisoner did he change at all, and only because of Thrall I think. If not for Thrall I don't think the night elf sentinel's(whose name idr) words would've meant a thing when she mocked him for thinking he was free of the demons control.

  • @Dreez76
    @Dreez76 Před 13 lety +10

    When i played WoW, my main was an Orc warrior. I often saw myself as the son of Hellscream, being that i was fearless, bloodthirsty and somewhat reckless. I often visited the valley and the grave of Hellscream to "pay my respects", a little rollplaying if you would. I also took many other Orc-warriors there to tell of the story and show the memorial-site.

  • @TOCR815
    @TOCR815 Před 10 lety +25

    I like how just the two of them show up to take down Mannoroth. It's like Thrall must've told Grom, "you messed up and now we're putting an end to this demon, just you and me."

    • @ivangushkov3651
      @ivangushkov3651 Před 9 lety +9

      That is the awesome thing about this story, the two of em go and try to set things right. There is a reasong why Thrall does not do shit to kill Manaroth. It is Groms redemption story. Thrall is there to acknowledge Groms act, Thrall sorta acts as the player who is watching the cinematic.

    Like maybe re-release a cinematics DVD, with a collector's edition that includes story boards, char designs, etc. They're not hurting for money right now, but I'm sure a demand's there, and it wouldn't hurt them one bit to make some money off of it.

      warlord of dreanor happens 25 years before this event. in old days, Grom hellscream with other clans agreed to drink manaroth's demon blood, which made them stronger but they lost their 'freedom' because of it and they became greenskinned. now, Garrosh hellscream, son of grom, travels to past 35 years ago to stop his father from drinking the blood, making them free and providing information and knowledge from the present, giving them great advantage in combat.

      Garrosh never drank the blood in either timeline. That is why he is brown in the future and in Outland's Nagrand.

    @Warcrafter50 Grom Hellscream is the father of Garrosh Hellscream (later to be found in Outland by Thrall during the Burning Crusade expansion, and brought back to Azeroth).
    The red glow signifies the demonic influence Mannoroth has over certain orcs who drank his blood from a Night Elf well. It was under this influence that Grom was able to actually kill the Demigod Cenarius, the patron saint of druids precisely and to an extent the Night Elf culture.

    I love the part when thrall's hammer gets batted away. Thrall looks like he is thinking "Dammit. Mebbe I should have held on to that."

    It's been years since I made this cinematic part of me. Whenever I get news of something backfiring to someone I dislike, I try to emulate Mannoroth's laugh.

    Mannoroth didn't pollute them, the Orcs chose to drink from the fountain themselves. Mannoroth promised the power of gods, but he didn't tell him the downsides, the Orcs later found out and so we came to this video.

    that was magtheridon. This is mannoroth. His demon armor and skull are attached to a tree outside thrall's palace in orgrimmar

    So yea, pretty much every orc drank Mannoroth's blood and during the first two games, they were kind of slaves of this bloodlust, they just needed to kill and kill and kill, or otherwise they would have turned against themselves (which was becoming a problem after they have nearly destoryed all the draenei). They were pets of Burning Legion, their purpose to destroy humans and any others who could pose a threat to Burning Legion's return and second invasion of Azeroth.

    SO, in summary:
    Thrall throws his hammer, which is blocked by a wing, and then gets his ass thrown into a wall,
    Grom runs in and swings his axe, which is blocked, but his axe cuts through Mannoroth's weapon and is planted deem into his chest,
    Mannoroth self destructs, killing Grom with the blast of fire.
    The end. You'd think it'd have shown a lot more....skill with a fancy swinging of strikes and parries. But nope, one thrown hammer and one swung axe is all it took.

    Mannoroth is also the leader of the Pit Lords (racial name is Annhilan) Magtheridon was put in charge of the Black Temple by Mannoroth before he went to Azeroth.

    @Cfknight13 He is. Thrall has gone and joined with the Earthen Ring, a collective group of shamans. Being the most powerful shaman alive, he is needed in the fight against Deathwing. But someone still needs to tend to the leadership of the Horde, and hence forth, made Hellscream the new Warchief.

    Oh, and about Orcs. Quite a lot of Orcs in the Warcraft universe fights with little to no clothing. I believe it is to show their manliness and musculanity. Like the Old greeks.
    Or it's just easier to move and kill humies that way xD

    Orcs are originally demons, but with time their demon blood got thinner and thinner and eventually they got more and more green:P The red orcs are orcs with strong demon blood in their veines;)
