The Best Way To Spend $500,000? (Porsche 911 GT3 RS 2024 Review)

  • Porsche’s manic 992 911 GT3 RS is the closest thing to a bona-fide racecar you can buy off the showroom floor with rego plates.
    No turbochargers and no electric boost; just pure rear-drive. The 386kW bewinged super sports car still offers incredible 3.2sec performance and epic 30.8m 100-0km/h braking - some of the best we’ve ever tested.
    Still, its crown glory is its chassis and driver engagement, making for one of the most thrilling road- and track-going vehicles serious money can buy. Our Weissach Pack-option beast costs $689,460 before on-roads!
    Chasing Cars’ Deputy Editor Curt Dupriez finds out how much fun the GT3 RS can be on our test track and wonders if it’s possible to find the brave pills to match its lofty capabilities..

    ❤😂😢😮😮😅😊😊😊 that’s one hell of a sweet Porsche but it’s too much for my blood for the price but I will stick with a 2000 2003 2004 2005 2008 911 I could probably be for those but not the one that you’re advertising now keep up the good work remember there’s no substitute but Porsche and Porsche got a start kicking some ass in those races

    Main problem for porsche is that its sound is absolutely poor compared to other sport cars. Honestly pooring. I am saying this from experience

    You can't get this for $500k; it's more like $650k to $700k if you're lucky enough to get an allocation.

      @Paradoxical124 Před 4 měsíci

      That doesn’t make sense, you go to prison for 400 years for speeding in Europe as well as here.

    • @arboghast8505
      @arboghast8505 Před 4 měsíci

      Why? Plenty of 80-100km/h rural back roads you can knock yourself out where there's no police. The only problem is if you fly off the curve into a ditch, it'd take hours for fire department to find and save you. Also the road quality could be not so ideal, I admit Porsche Darkar might be better for the occasion.

    • @nyc863
      @nyc863 Před 4 měsíci +1

      What do you mean? In Sydney you can .. .. um .. take it to an open drive day at Sydney motorsport park and get the amazing paint ruined by a gravel spray from an idiot in a wrx on a corner. You an also go up the famous old Pacific highway which has a speed limit of .. uh .. 60kmh. You can also pay transurban $35 to drive out of Sydney and experience all the lumps and bumps of regional NSW roads. It's all too perfect.

    • @Alandiversi
      @Alandiversi Před 2 měsíci

      Actually it’s really not that good on road for any country. As he said in review it is truely only built for track. It’s a niche play and epic for that niche. Plenty of other better cars on road compared to this at any speed
