Thanks for taking the time to show us around this super little 🚗museum - brought back so many memories. Also, thanks for lingering on the cabinets a little - gave me the chance to ‘freeze’ the screen and have a good gawp! Well done you two. With luck the museum will have many more visitors now. Today’s vlog probably interested a much wider audience than a trip to the charity shop. You can imagine, in many households up and down the country, viewers pausing the screen to show to an older member of the family and leading lots of folk to say “my mum/dad/granny had one of these”, talking about the ‘good old days’ and reminiscing with their family - all thanks to you!
Thanks Wendy.
That museum definitely worth a fiver.
I love theway you talk to Sharon ( my little princess) ❤
What a lovely museum! So many memories from a bygone age and I'm only 59 😂
What an interesting place, we’re already thinking about coming down to have a look. Thank you both for showing us around xx
Our pleasure!
Enjoyed the visit of the museum thank you watching from South Africa
❤ lovely to see all the old cars and toys makes you feel old as you can remember
Happy birthday to Jimmy xxx
It was great to see the little red bubble car. I remember we had one in the early 1960s before Dad passed his driving test. Xx
Nice one
Oh wow what a lovely little museum. Wow thought I was back in my Mam’s kitchen and living room. Lovely memories. You two certainly get around thanks as always. Take care
Now I do feel old. I remember most of those "antique" items. My father had a Messerschmitt and my uncle had an Isetta. I could go on but it would make me feel even more ancient 😞
😂 That was an eye opener! Seeing stuff I grew up with in a museum! 😂😮 Happy day of birth to Jimmy xxx
Thanks for showing us this museum… I remember from my childhood so much stuff that you show… brings back really good memories 😃
Glad you enjoyed it
Woah that museum was amazing. The work that went into that place with all those collections of yester year was wonderful to see. How they got all that stuff is fantastic . I had lots of bits and bobs over the years that you showed there . Another great video thanks Sharon and Martin 😊
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi Martin and Sharon I still have a Ferguson radiogram From1957 in my lounge and still in regular use. I also had a chemistry set with a methylated spirit bunson burner. .i got into trouble for an experiment that went wrong and a test tube blew up and made a blue stain on the kitchen ceiling
I have the Baycham Bambi and 1st and 2nd gen glasses ,I collected them because my mum loved them 😁 I had a bracelet which was apparently made from a messerschit windscreen ( so my Gran told me ) but ot was taken when i got burgled 😢 Ther was garage i used to walk past and it was the only garage they could take their blue disabled car to for mot etc 😳 My Gran and Mum used to collect Green Sheild stamps lol Thankyou Sharon and Martin 👏👏👏😎💖
That’s a very interesting museum and a very happy birthday to Jimmy!
Hi love your videos, I passed my motorcycle license in 1987 and my husband bought me a Reliant Rialto MK2 Estate, the reason you can drive them on a motorcycle license is that they only have an 850cc engine,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIMMY.
THANKYOU for sharing your lovely videos i appeciate them and i appreciate you all, love from Ellie in Dorset xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
LOVED the museum, thank you SO much! My Dad's brother had a little light blue Messerschmidt way back. I still have a Fred Homepride Flour sifter as well as the little hand Mouli grater - both still in use. As an Army brat we moved around and several Army Quarters had the old upright kitchen cabinet with the drop down front. Very useful and compact as well. Happy days! x
Its amazing the things we grew up with are in a museum Diane.
My Grandmother in Edinburgh had one of those vertical cabinets in her kitchen👍✌️😃
It is amazing to see stuff that we grew up with in a museum.🤣
Martin - I'm next I suspect!@@butlersempire
Ahhhh it’s my sons too !!! He’s 28 today - Happy Birthday Jimmy 🎉🎉

I’ve still got one of those old Big Ben alarm clocks, still working and it’s over 50 yrs old.
I thought you were buying all the processed foods as an April fools joke ,to see if we noticed 😂😂😂 Fabulous visit round the museum, yes remembered loads of the kitchen stuff
My brother was a landlord of a pub and he had a trotters car one day he went outside to see his car upside down that was his mates having a laugh and it was memories
That's not funny at all, it's bang out of order. The damage it could have caused.
@@tonymcgeachin9906 my brother thought it was hilarious and at his funeral there was hundreds of people who really loved him he was in the paper's for being a well liked character
What an amazing step back in time thank you so much
We camped in the campsite a couple of years ago. It’s a great little museum and reasonably priced. They sold local cider there too and I remember it being really nice. It certainly is well worth a visit. I thought I recognised the weird mechanic but couldn’t place where I knew it from 😂 lovely to reminisce about the history and that weekend break we had there.
Everything was moved around in my Tescos when I went last week, took twice as long to shop! You can still buy Baby Cham Sharon. Lovely museum, the rooms were right out my childhood.. I want an old record player with the record changer!
My hubby was a driver and he colllect green shield stamps when filling up with fuel . We kitted out our whole kitchen with the stamps table four chairs and all the cooking pots and pans and plates etc.
Fantastic Martin and Sharon that bought back some memories especially when my dad came home with a bubble car the one that opens at the front 👍👍👍👍
Loved this vlog, considering I’m only 38, I enjoy looking back at history looking at eras gone by and the old cars and old bikes and stuff all very interesting thank you for showing us around that lovely place ❤😊xx

Great video, took me right back. Had a friend who got a bubble car 🚗 in the 60s, a 3 wheeler so never passed a test, used to drive in the middle of the road, with me as a passenger, hair raising 😱

The metal spinning tops @19:54 are called Gyroscopes, when spinning they could be balanced on just about anything. In the late 1970’s I worked for Progress Gyroscopes in Blackpool that made them.
I really enjoyed your visit to the Bubble museum, very interesting. I used to go out with a lad that had an orange bond car, it certainly attracted attention back then.
My daughter now collects that green beryl ware crockery . She loves it
What an interesting museum thanks, lots of things I remember, because yes Martin I'm of a "certain age" You are such a lovely couple, I love all the videos that you do, happy birthday to jimmy💑🎁🍰x.

I love it when you visit a museum, you have so many great ones over there and this was one of them. I remember a few things from there as a kid in Scotland. We kids were interested in the little bubble cars because they only had three wheels and they opened up at the FRONT.... Amazing !!! LOL It was lovely to see them again. You were right Martin when you said that painting was in just about every home, my granny had it. 😂
Glad you enjoyed it

What a fantastic museum. I now feel very old. Thanks a lot 😂. I recognised so many of the household things. Not so much the cars but it makes me wonder what my grandkids “things” that they are familiar with today will be thought of in another 50 years or so. Amazing. Thanks Sharon and Martin. Xx
