there's a bluebird in my heart that
wants to get out
but I'm too tough for him,
I say, stay in there, I'm not going
to let anybody see

never know that

I say, I know that you're there,
so don't be

then I put him back,
but he's singing a little
in there, I haven't quite let him
die
and we sleep together like
that
with our
secret pact
and it's nice enough to
make a man
weep, but I don't
weep, do
you?
i wish bukowski had the chance to see this. he would get tears. lovely
The writing of Bukowski level would have imagine far more than it.

We all have a bluebird in our heart. Some can show it, and some can't. Some deny it. Some fight it.
Life is about emotions. Why do we run from them.
We are all scared.

Bukowski visited me in the morning today
As always ,he was blabbering about himself
As to how hard it was for him to be Bukowski
How hard it was for him to keep living in this "disgusting world"
As per his routine,
I think he was busy drinking all night
He hasn't got any sleep
He had a bluebird with him
And said something about going to visit an old place
He was worried about his bluebird
He left the caged bird on my table
I offered him coffee
But he left in a hurry
Now, A bluebird lives with me.

There's an Indonesian singer and songwriter called Pamungkas. He has just released a new album with its song called Birdy. The lyrics are VERY similar to BlueBird by Charles Bukowski. The thing is, Pamungkas says his song is his own idea.

Doing this now with a mirror, sublinal, and beautiful bluebird and silver paper framing the poem by flowers for the beauty in the words and feelings shared. The words on simple. White paper, bird in the middle and the poem written in just a verse for my frame was too small

Amazing. The bluebird is a beauty! :3 But in "Bluebird" didn't Bukowski state that grocers and outsiders in general aren't aware of the bluebird? So why is it so apparent to the bar tender? Unless that part is to be taken like even though it should be apparent to the bartender, he still doesn't see it?
