@thomaspick4123 Yes...guitar player myself..!!..Many television shows STILL don't allow bands to bring all their gear in and do a proper job..!!..Subsequently bands end up miming to the track or can't appear..!!..The Searchers are excellent in live scenario...play it all...sing it all...No Problem...!!!!!
Obviously they were fab in sixties but i saw them many times with this line up and they were fantastic such a tight band. And spencers voice just incredible.
The original Searchers (Don't throw your love away- Needles and pins-love potion no. 9) were John McNally, Chris Curtis, Mike Pender, and Tony Jackson. That Original Searchers line up is what existed when I first became a Searchers fan way back when I was in High School. First Tony Jackson left the group, then Chris Curtis and then Mike Pender. What is being called the "Searchers " in this vedio has only one original member of the band namely John McNally.
Spencer does great job , miss Mike though the original searcher . Good medley of their big hits . I’d b around 10 when they came out but remember hearing them all on radio and seeing them on tv
Spencer is so stunning that he takes my breath away!! How can anyone so gorgeous be so talented too? This performance by The Searchers is excellent! I love it!
Greatest group to come out of Liverpool, always love them better than the Beatles. Let not forget Mike Pender, Chris Curtis and last but not least Tony Jackson who I thought was let down by the group
I wonder how people would react if Mick Jagger went out as the Rolling Stones without Keith Richards, or if Paul McCartney called himself "The Beatles".
Fabulous sound...since the guitars aren't even plugged in...??!!??...No wireless back then..!!!!
Thanks for noticing, good job, inspector Clueso.

Good grief, Ted Rogers with his show 321 that's taken me back. I loved that show and the searches great entertainment :)

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe Ringo Starr should go out as "the Beatles" This is not "The Searchers" but a cover band...
seeing the base player Frank Allen is nice he came to the band back in 64 so only a handfull of years after the bands startup
Como estos grupos ya no hay son espectacular inigualable son únicos y hermosos
The searchers super groep of the sixties , thanks for Al the great songs , we never forget you , fan henri put belgium 🇧🇪

Looks like 1 of the 4 original group (Mcnally). Gone are Jackson and Curtis
the searchers คณะนี้โปรดที่สุดเลย เพราะทุกเพลง สุดยอดมาก ขอบคุณค่ะ
מוסיקה..שמרפאה..חולים

Never ending music😘
Spencer is so stunning that he takes my breath away!! How can anyone so gorgeous be so talented too? This performance by The Searchers is excellent! I love it!
Time is cruel ... he looks like Alf Garnett now.
Look at a young Spencer performing with The First Class on
Beach Baby, a major hit in 74
I didnt realise Trevor Horn played drums!
Immer noch Supppper❤❤🎉🎉🥰🥰💕💕🌺🌺👍👍
I liked them bck then. hav a cd & an album still.
Only two early Searchers....
Actually only one, John Mcnally.
Well Frank Allen joined in 1964 so I think he counts as an early Searcher!
Yes they are still searching for the others!
Give it up for the Searchers, Best ever Thanks for the vid,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Miming but great music.
Not the Searchers without all the original members.
Agree. It is like Cliff and the Shadows without Cliff and Hank Marvin.
Attended a gig at Cheadle staffs
one of carol and les Higgs beat nights out ever.
Sweet for my sweet version etc.. are too fast, beautiful melodies are affected..
When you walk in the room always brings goosebumps.
This is brilliant, thank you for posting

Searchers! Still going strong! The best
They forgo their cords to their guitars.
Been watching all the Searchers videos.. when did Spencer lose his hair? Something medical or age?
Steven xx😎😀🎸 🎸 xx
Where’s the amp wires😂😂😂😂
1:20 Now steady, isn't this the bit of the song where the director usually cuts to the top of the drummer's hesd or the bass.
Steven STATUQOO s
😎😀🎸🎸 😎😍
Bears no resemblance to the original line up!
Only one original here, John McNally playing lead guitar on the right.
Cool Billy on the drums💪🇩🇪
BRILLIANT JUST BRILLIANT THE SEARCHERS.

Absolutely better than the Beatles.
@@BadfingerFanNot in same league as Beatles who taught everyone the formula, nonetheless they were great too…..in my opinion……peace out….🎸
Four piece group with 24 members
You must be kidding!
I think they have gotten better, especially with spencer James he is a great person singer
Maybe one original member....maybe!!. Pretty bad
They sound like a plastic band compared to the real original group.
👍👍👍👍💕💕💕💕💕🤩🤩🤩🤩🥰🥰🥰🦋🌺
worst miming ever. It is funny.
Please not the searchers
Not the Searchers.... Only John present.
I wonder how people would react if Mick Jagger went out as the Rolling Stones without Keith Richards, or if Paul McCartney called himself "The Beatles".
