I spent the first 28 years of my life in Wishaw and I loved this video. It was a great place to grow up in the 1950s and 60s although I think a lot has changed since. Just one point, the caption at 1:34 is wrong. The picture is of Main Street at the corner of Belhaven Terrace, not Caledonian Road.
You have a few of these Wrong. 1:35 is Main St not Caledonian Road "Bank of Scotland" Was where "Round Sounds" Was and at 1:10 it's Not "Priory House" it is "Cambusnethan Priory"and before that "Cambusnethan House".

My mother grew up in wishaw around the same time period...she lived on rannoch drive in the pather before moving down to england in 1970.
