D413373R Don't underestimate the ground support attack plane either on this map, you can reliably take out boats in 2 passes without losing any ability to take out planes and infantry. I went 25-0 on my first try in that loadout.

I always fly bomber killer fighter, the rockets are not to effective on infantry, but giving the amount of vehicles on this map, you can really get some kills. The rockets are a menace to airships and also to boats.
That One Guy That Snipes yea ive played bomber killer on the new maps too, i end up waiting for the airships to spawn when i play that haha didnt try killing boats with it my aim isnt good enough for that haha. Maybe if youre good with the bomber you could be pretty effective also in regards to destroying ships/infantry, as long as you keep away from all the AA though. One of the most fun dlcs for sure imo
DLC has been good. But did AA get a buff? It was doing 40 damage per hit with my fighter.
Have you noticed that on the Italian Map for the Apocalypse DLC on CTE (the only map where you can use planes and infantry) , the Heavy Bomber’s preset class is changed so it has both the barrage but also two twin machine guns which you can fire from the cockpit and aim. Has anyone else noticed this, is it a new set or has it just always been there?
i noticed it too, also noticed that the 3rd variant (the one with the cluster incendiary grenades and smoke) got it´s smoke replaced by gas
I absolutely love this new map. I'm recently only playing the new maps since the gameplay is so diverse and offers so many different playstyles! But usually I also mostly go with the tankhunter on that map and get around 50-60 Kills per game. Loved the vid!

The torpedo boat, airship, and destroyer are all technically better at destroying enemy boats but the attack plane is more nimble and a smaller target.
The fighter is better at killing the airship and generally a better dogfighter but the attack plane is so much better against ground/sea targets (although the rockets are plenty good for infantry)

Dynamics of infantry on heligoland is like any other, plus being shot at by boats and planes occasionally. And lots of swimming

Hey Niccaman nice video :) i prefer ground support with atack plane, its not so stong as tank hunter but i give so much much help on infatry playersin my team so they can take the objectives easier.

The thing I don't like about the tank buster, and I am not sure if it's a bug or not, is that when you drop the bombs, it knocks the plane down. That has made me crashed a lot dropping bombs at a low altitude, right as I'm about to pull up and it knocks me down.
It doesn't do that with any other loadout, or plane. Only the tank buster. I think it bugs out, because there's obviously recoil when you shoot your main gun and it bugs out and does that with the bombs too, knocking your plane down, which can result in you crashing if you are dive bombing.
yeah i get that a lot too... but not lately because i haven't flown the plane in forever.

Bomber Killer fighter is a very good on this map. But I feel like the airships should have like 500 health.

Really nice video Nicca and good flying! Although try rolling wider when evading those AAs and adjust the size and speed of your roll depending on where the flak is exploding, while looking through rear cam.

Niccaman anytime brother! Yeah with a little practice you’ll literally start feeling like Neo from the Matrix when dodging those things lol. Also if you’ve ever watched any videos of real pilots providing close air support, they always perform aggressive defensive maneuvers, when egressing from a bomb run or strafe...regardless of whether they’re taking fire or not. Basically always assume someone on the ground is trying to line up a kill shot on you. If you do that especially in the AP your survivability will go up even more. Watch my angle of death video when you get a chance and you’ll notice I always rear cam and go immediately into evasive maneuvers following an attack run.
